  • Everything I wanted and more!

"This guest house is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing get away to Chico. The guest house has all the amenities you could ask in a quaint, comfy little package. I felt at peace while staying there and Kami was very accommodating. She is very nice and has perfected the balance between providing privacy and providing help. I really hope to be back again and I will absolutely make it a priority to stay here if I do visit again."

  • comfortable in June

"This was a great place to stay for us. We had nice quiet mornings and nights for sleeping. Spend most of the day off fishing with friends. We totally enjoyed the balcony for BBQ'ng, as the evening air cooled and for star gazing. The weather was hot, but the fans worked great to cool off the apartment when we came back for the day. Bed comfy, kitchen workable, nice table area, bath roomy, and hosts friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back."

  • What a magical view!

"The photos don't compare to the amazing view from the deck! We had a lovely stay in this home and spent hours on the deck. It was hotter in Mt Shasta & Weed than we expected this particular week so our time on the deck was limited to mornings and evenings but we were so happy to be out there. The home is very nice and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could want. This is a magical place to visit."

  • Delightful Woodland Retreat!!

"First timers, not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. Cabin had plenty of space for all 7 of us, included 77 year old active grandma! Enjoyed having coffee and a bagel on the rear deck every morning, actually had the privilege of seeing a dear pass through the property one morning. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, coffee machines, everything you use at home for daily living. Having 3 kids and spending lots of time at the river produces lots of dirty clothes but it was a breeze because I was able to do my laundry at the cabin. We had dinner together every night which was wonderful because when we vacation at hotels you tend to eat out a lot which can be very expensive. Also, hotel continental breakfasts are during certain hours, at the cabin, after a long night playing games and just enjoying family time, it did not matter what time we woke up, we were able to have our coffee and bagel at our time! Trust me, our family has done it all, camping in tents, hotels, motels, rv's....this has it all beat!!! You want a real restful vacation away from the crazy city life, looking for peace or a place to unwind.....look no further...you have just stumbled on to a little peace of heaven!"
