  • Perfect Sonoma Getaway!

"We had a group of 7 stay at the farmhouse just before Labor Day Weekend for a wedding. Our stay was absolutely perfect and we can't wait to come back! The house is impeccably decorated, comfortable and charming. The owners have paid attention to every detail. There was plenty of room for all of us and then some - probably could have fit another 3 adults comfortably. The pool was absolutely stunning and a welcome retreat after lots of wedding events to attend. The front porch was so relaxing in the morning, sipping a cup of coffee and watching the wildlife. The location couldn't be better - literally walking distance to downtown Glen Ellen - but hidden in the hills so it's not noisy or busy. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. We really look forward to staying here again!"

  • Excellent

"This beautiful and secluded property proved to be the perfect retreat for our party of three couples in town for a family wedding. We all had our private areas as well as a wonderful large living room where we could enjoy each other's company. The house is located within walking distance of the small town of Glen Ellen where we enjoyed breakfast and it's right in the heart of wine country. We enjoyed the spaciousness, the privacy and it met all our needs. The resident cat, Romeow, was very friendly. Would certainly consider staying here again if we visit this area."

  • A majical place on top of the world

"We read all the great reviews and looked at the wonderful and enticing photos of this house high over Sonoma Valley, and then we arrived, walked in the door and found ourselves nearly speechless by the most spectacular view and an extremely accommodating and comfortable home away from home. The kitchen is well appointed with all the silverware, plates, coffee cups, pots, pans and glasses you'll ever need. Each bedroom is large with its own bathroom with nice linens and towels. The living room is very spacious with a very large flat screen TV with Direct TV service. The pool terrace area is far enough away from the house without being so far you can't just head up to grab another cold beer or glass of wine. The upper terrace with its very comfortable Adirondack chairs provided the perfect place to enjoy your first cup of coffee while checking out Sonoma Valley waking up below as well as the spot we found ourselves for every sunset and sometimes later for that last glass of wine. One early morning I saw two adolescent fox playing around the Adirondack chairs for about five minutes and was able to video them for our grandchildren. The landscaping around the house and pool is beautiful and offered a great variety. The location is so perfect with plenty of good restaurants in Glen Ellen and Sonoma (20 minutes south). We hiked around the Jack London Park as well as toured the spectacular Quarryhill botanical gardens just down at the end of Trinity Road on the way to Glen Ellen. While we have rented many homes in Sonoma and Napa Valley over the years, we've never felt compelled to rent the same house more than once. We will surely rent this house again."

  • Wine Country Trip

"We recently stayed at this magnificent home for our Wine Country Trip. The views from this home are beautiful and the area is very quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor space with the pool, hot tub and boccie court. The house had everything you needed to feel like you were at home. Eric is easy to deal with and quickly responds to any of your needs. We had 6 in our party and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and have some quiet time when needed. The sunrise and sunsets are amazing and being up in the mountain you get to see the fog in the valley while you are about the fog line. The large windows and sliders in the house make it so open and airy. I would recommend staying here if you want to be close to both Napa and Sonoma as well as just relaxing for the day if you so chose. If I have the opportunity to be in this area again I would certainly stay here again. Thanks Eric for having a beautiful home to rent."
