  • Delightful Stay

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed are stay in your home over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was truly a "home away from home," and we appreciated all the artwork, decorations and artifacts displayed in the home. Every day we discovered something we had not seen the day before! The location is ideal, and convenient to nearby restaurants, wineries, etc. We would like to come back in the summer months when we could enjoy the outdoors and the pool. Awesome birdwatching! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!"

  • Tuscan Hideaway

"The beauty of the Tuscan Cottage is that you feel like you actually went to Italy. The property is stunning and the Guest House is so well appointed you will not want to leave. Joshua and Tim have created a place that rejuvenates the soul from the minute you drive up to the circular driveway. With the welcome wine and cheese, and Peet's coffee and cream for the morning, we felt at home when we opened the door. The property is very quiet and tucked away, yet very close to the quaint town of Glen Ellen. We are from the area, so we didn't feel the need to visit every winery in Sonoma, but we went to a few that were less than a 10 minutes drive. With so much to do in this area, we really just wanted to be back at the Guest House, which tells you how amazing the property is and how well the owners know how to welcome guests. We had Thanksgiving dinner at El Dorado Kitchen, a great restaurant on Sonoma square. The square was beautiful at night with all the trees lit with white lights. We came back to the square over the weekend and had some delicious Italian food at Della Santini's, just off the square. Needless to say, we didn't want to leave when it was time to go, but we know we will be back. Thank you, Joshua and Tim, for a magical weekend away."

  • Quiet and Relaxing

"This home is perfect if you are looking to relax and unwind. It's peaceful and quiet and close to Napa and San Francisco. We were very happy with our stay here and the location of the house. We were treated very well by John and Mary. We woke up every morning to a beautiful breakfast prepared by Mary. We couldn't have had a better experience in California. Thank you so much!"

  • Never wanted to leave!

"My family rented this home over Thanksgiving weekend and we never wanted to leave! The coziest home with plenty of space was extremely well appointed and comfortable. Surrounding the home is lush natural landscaping and charming yard with a little wooden bridge and stream, an outdoor hot tub which we didn't use, outdoor kitchen and BBQ as well as a gas fire pit to sit around. My favorite part of the home was the well stocked kitchen with high end appliances (6 burner gas Thermadoor range, Viking fridge) multiple ovens and a large sit around stone counter with stools and wall mounted TV made sitting around eating or having coffee such a wonderful experience. We cooked an entire Thanksgiving feast and had everything we could have needed and more. I have rented homes in the past but never have I ever felt so at home. The beds were all comfortable and the living room with push button gas fireplace made watching TV or sitting at the dining room table incredibly lovely. This home is completely stocked with everything you need and is a short walk or 2 minute drive to an awesome grocery store and several restaurants (The Fig Restaurant was great!), and from here it is a scenic drive to St Helena, or any of the beautiful Napa wine country towns and wineries to the north or Sonoma just down the road to the south. About 1 hour to SFO airport. Rose the owner was extremely professional and easy to work with and has great care for details. We enjoyed everything about this home and only concern is it not being available the next time we visit the area!"
