  • The house was clean, well maintained, nicely furnished and filled with everything needed.

"My family of 7 stayed over the Memorial Day weekend and everyone was very comfortable and pleasantly surprised with this home. The property is located North of Glen Ellen, easily accessible to numerous wineries, tasting rooms and restaurants. It has four bedrooms and a sofa sleeper, four bathrooms with showers, some with tubs, and comfortable open main floor space that leads to a wonderful deck with a great view of the valley. The owner is genuinely interested in providing a first class experience, which we had. And promptly replied to all my questions. With the pool, hot tub and available BBQ on the deck, it felt like home. There is a modern kitchen and it is fully stocked with dishes, pots, utensils etc... I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, well maintained home, that is centrally located for visiting Sonoma, with day trips to Santa Rosa and Napa within easy reach. As noted by the owner, The Glen Ellen Village Market is the place to shop for meals and other necessities during a stay. Thanks to the owners for sharing this unique property. We would return without hesitation."

  • Quiet, relaxing home-away-from-home!

"What a beautiful experience! This was my first time with VRBO. Joshua made us feel so welcome to his cottage; he gave us a huge list of places to do (and things to see), along with personalized recommendations, stayed up to greet us when we arrived late in the evening (with a lovely wine, snacks, and coffee), and checked on us again in the morning to make sure we had settled in! His pictures perfectly reflect his home. What the pictures don't show are his thoughtful little touches - extra blankets and pillows in the living room and bedroom, a stash of condiments and spices in the kitchen, wood / charcoal / kindling / lighters in the living room and for the grill, heated floors, centralized heat and A/C, fast wireless internet, the HDMI switch to easily plug additional inputs into the television, and the plush comfort of the bed and sofas. The pictures also don't capture the pure tranquility of the place; all the quiet solitude of a wooded area, within fifteen minutes of downtown Sonoma. It was wonderful. Thank you for sharing your home with us, Joshua! (Hopefully we'll be able to meet Jengo next trip ;) )"

  • A beautiful gem in Sonoma!

"My wife, two adult daughters & I enjoyed relaxing in this beautiful home while visiting the wineries in Sonoma. It is a very well appointed, comfortable & clean home. The kitchen has every cooking utensil & dish a gourmet chef would need. It is very close to some wonderful Glen Ellen restaurants. Chris & Donna were very attentive to our needs & were very helpful from the beginning of the reservation process to well past the check out. We hope to come back for another stay very soon."

  • Cool retreat

"Really neat place and lived up to and exceeded our expectations. It really is a little rustic nature retreat. Great way to unplug from life for a bit and just enjoy each other's company!"
