  • A peaceful elegant place to stay in the middle of vineyard

"We stayed at this location for 3 days. We were party of 9 including 2 young children. The occasion was 75th birthday of my wife. The experience could not be any better. The house is very well equipped covering all the needs of guests. The children spent half of the time in large well heated pool. We had barbecue dinner near the pool the first day and a formal dinner made by personal chef. Cocktails in the garden. It was like a second wedding for us. I highly recommend this property for your next elegant get together or just a family and friends get away."

  • Absolutely beautiful--a perfect spot.

"We spent nearly a week with some old high school friends. This awesome quiet hideaway could not have been more perfect. Views from everywhere. Some of our days biggest decisions involved picking the perfect deck for that evening's wine and goodies. The house itself was large, very comfortable and full of character and memorabilia from Larry's fascinating life, the kitchen well equipped and easy to use, Romeow was welcoming and always entertaining. We found ourselves eager to get back to "our" house half way through the day. Loved the pool after a hot day of wine tasting. The little town of Glen Ellen was a short walk away, down hill going, up coming back. Had two fabulous dinners there at the Glen Ellen Inn--went back a second time because the friends we were with wanted to have the same thing we had the first night. We will happily return if we are lucky enough to score another visit to the neighborhood. Thank you, Larry, for sharing your perfect little piece of heaven."

  • What a gem!

"We were looking for a dog-friendly place in Sonoma and stumbled upon this secluded hideaway. We stayed 2 nights and would have liked to have lingered longer. The grounds are well-kept, the facilities perfectly in order, and the vibe is unbeatable. Bring your provisions as you don't want to have to head down the road because you forgot some milk or whatnot. In fact, that's really the only downside I can find-- if you wanted to get to town its a bit sketchy on an unfamiliar one lane road at night--but there's really no reason to leave! We hope to visit again in the future."

  • Impeccable Accomodations!

"We were a party of 6 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday. The house was perfect in every respect: it is beautifully decorated to create a warm and welcoming environment, the views are stunning, and the owners have thought of everything (water bottles in every bedroom, throw blankets for use on the porch at night, fluffy towels for the hot tub, and a welcome basket of goodies when we arrived). The location worked great for us as we went to Napa vineyards one day and Sonoma the next. It was remote enough to be peaceful (we saw deer, jackrabbits and a coyote in the yard) and close enough to be convenient. I'd recommend this house to anyone staying in wine country!"
