  • Amazing views

"This was a wonderful home. Very comfortable and spacious. Just far enough out of town to be quite and peaceful. The view was incredible. Got to see a family of deer every day . It was a perfect Colorado experience. Easy to access and stocked with all the amenities."

  • Great place for a getaway

"We rented this as a "base camp" for a family getaway. We were very pleased with the all of the amenities; just like we were at home. Though we only had five adults, there was plenty of room for the additional 7 you advertise it will sleep. The views are spectacular; sunrise to east and the sparkling lights of city at night. As an added surprise, we even had a resident family of deer visit almost every day."

"I wanted to find a place to take my family and experience the wonder of the Rocky Mountains. Mike Carter's cabins provided for all of our needs. The cabins were clean and well equipped and in a location with access to rafting, fishing, and hiking. Mike's hospitality helped our family experience a wonderful vacation. Would definitely do it again--Thanks Mike! Joe Hocherl"

  • A lovely getaway! Be mindful of the "leave it as you found it" rule

"I visited Greenview with 4 of my good friends and enjoyed a great long weekend at Michaels cabin. It was a clean place. Comfortable beds. Nice amenities. A beautiful location with a sneaky good view just up the hill. It gets nice and cool at night, so sleeping was pleasant. The location is great for folks looking to get into town and hike the likes of Chief Mountain. Visitors need to be very mindful of the "leave it as you found it" policy that is spelled out in the contract waiting for you at the cabin. While Michael made the policy clear, I do feel it's a little much to ask of guests. In order to get your $100 cleaning fee returned, you need to vacuum, change the sheets, sanitize the toilet, tub, sink, and counters. If you're feeling extra nice, you can even begin to clean the sheets you used. I've never had a place ask this much in order to have a cleaning deposit returned. I also feel a little uneasy having to trust previous guests with the task of changing the sheets. In my opinion, these tasks should be taken care of by the owners or cleaning staff. My friends and I completed about 85% of what was required, but we drew the line when it came to cleaning the bathroom and starting the laundry. We're on vacation, ya know! Who wants to do that stuff. And ultimately, it's entirely up to the owners to decide whether you cleaned the place sufficiently. On a final note, I believe our group should have received more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 4 night stay. More than 1 roll of paper towel would have also been nice, especially when we need 1/2 roll to complete all the cleaning tasks. In the end, we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was exactly as described. The policies were clear, albeit a little weird when it came to the "leave it as you found it" rule. Maybe some folks are up to doing that much work to get $100 back, just not me."
