  • You will love it.

"Very pleasant stay. We had good weather and hiked everyday. I've rooted around many an old cabin but they were always vermin infested and broken down. This cabin in a cabin is very unique and pleasant. The kitchen provided for all our needs, the washer and dryer with soap detergent were very welcome, the whirlpool type tub was very relaxing, and the views were tremendous. We were unable to get a Vorizon signal but the nice chaps at the Stage Stop in Rollinsville showed us how to use Vorizon Wifi on our phones and that kept us in touch with the outside. I carried the cable to attach my phone to the TV so we were able to watch NETFLIX and the like on the somewhat small TV screen. All the comments on the food at the Stage Stop were good. They also host wedding receptions. I strongly recommend this lodging."

  • The perfect get away from it all cabin!

"Not only was the cabin cozy, peaceful, quiet and clean, but it has the most amazing view of the Rocky's. Plus Jerry is the absolute nicest and most hospitable host you could ask for. Went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect."

  • We had a great time and a lot of fun!

"The cabin we stayed in Idaho Springs turns out to be a real historic miner's cabin built in very beginning of last century. There is an actual mine nearby to take a tour. The location was perfect: just a few blocks to the center of Idaho Springs, restaurants, BBQ spots, coffee shops and more. We loved to walk the old streets of this historic town and admire facades of little Victorian houses. We went to an antique shop, coffee shop, Ice-cream shop and Pinball Parlor. We had dinner at Smoking Yard BBQ (great food by the way) and Tommy-knockers Brewery. We did white water rafting ( highly recommend!) and zip lining during our stay. It was nice to come back to the cabin as our "home away from home" to relax on the deck in the back. The patio furniture is new and comfortable. We had BBQ one day there. The neighbor around and people in Idaho Springs are very nice and friendly. The cabin was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the front porch and back yard very very nice. The kitchen was fully equipped. The cabin isn't big but it is comfortable for 4-5 guests. We are thinking about coming back in winter to try some skiing or snowboarding in Loveland."

  • Memorable Fall Trip

"My brother, close friends, and I spent a wonderful time at Casita Colorado. We enjoyed the privacy and serene surroundings. The kitchen and food prep areas are better than at my home, and the high tech audio and visual set up was nice after a long day hiking. Beautiful views from every window, and very comfortable areas for lounging and resting. Scott is a very welcoming host, and we would definitely stay here again."
