  • Super Unique Property

"This was a very unique home and was an amazing experience just walking thru the house the first time. So many different things to enjoy from the NOLO styled art work to the colorful tile- and the views from upstairs were fantastic every morning. We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed day trips around the area during the day. Keep in mind this house is fairly secluded and you will access it up a steep, bumpy, dirt road. But the drive is worth it. My mother in law was with us and she enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen and I enjoyed not having to cook!!! My only complaint is that this house was surrounded by trees and about 90% of the windows had no screens. So the upstairs was either very warm because we couldnt open the windows or we had tons of bugs. After the first night we went to the hardware store and bought mosquito nets to cover the windows. Problem solved."

  • Excellent, solid built cabin with genuine wilderness environment, yet every convenience of home.

"We have traveled extensively throughout the world and have stayed in many cabins, chalets, and lodges in very remote places. The Mountain Chalet was a delight for us - genuine seclusion with no other house in sight, quiet solitude, perfect for writing and relaxation, and game viewing right in the yard and on the property (elk, deer, fox, bird life and various small game). If you are looking for a secluded mountain cabin, off the grid yet conveniently located so you can travel to a small town for a nice meal in minutes or to the city in less than an hour, this is the place for you. We would highly recommend the Mountain Chalet as a place for deep relaxation and vacation. Steve and Shirley Taylor, Pratt, Kansas (5/2016)"

  • Amazing Mountain Home and Property

"Everything they advertise is accurate and this home offers you a perfect place for couples, family reunions, small events, bachelor or bachelorette parties, week long mountain getaway for a larger family and friends etc. Kevin and Jennifer are great people and very responsive with questions and keep a good account of any conversations or request you may have. Easy to find and very close to civilization but you could stay there for a week without any need to leave. I'm thrilled to know about this place and plan to come back for any reason I can find. If you haven't figured it out and are still reading give up and book already!"

  • Peaceful Serenity

"Words cannot describe the beautiful mountain views from the deck!! We must have had at least 20 hummingbirds on the feeders and were lucky enough to be visited one evening by 3 mule deer while we watched the sunset. The cabin had everything we needed for a quiet get away. In mid July, highs were in the 70's and lows in the upper 40's at night. A much needed reprieve from the Texas heat! If you are looking for quiet and peaceful, this is the place!!"
