  • Comfortable, well-appointed cabin right outside RMNP and close to Grand Lake

"My husband and I stayed at the Dreamcatcher cabin with our two little kids (21 months and almost 4 years) this past week and had a wonderful time! His parents were also with us for part of the time and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved being so close to RMNP and Grand Lake. The cabin is very thoughtfully appointed, with comfortable beds, plenty of sleeping space, two full bathrooms, and cozy living room. The kitchen had everything we needed to prep and cook, and there was even a decent assortment of spices and condiments. We loved having dining areas both inside and outside, along with a great gas grill. The deck is fantastic and we spent many afternoons there playing and listening to the thunderstorms. Kay and Roger were very responsive as we were booking our reservation and made sure we had all the information we needed. All in all a terrific place to stay."

  • Very nice, relaxing location for my wife's birthday

"My wife wanted to go somewhere to see some moose for her birthday. We didn't see any moose during our stay but did see a nice herd of elk less than a mile from the property. The home was very nicely decorated and very up to date. Very clean and well maintained. The lakefront location was great and the view was gorgeous. We went to Rocky Mountain Park several times and it couldn't have been more convenient to the park entrance.Having the small refrigerator and coffee maker in the lower level is a nice touch, if you have a house full of people. My only recommendation would be to have one larger TV for watching football games."

  • Modern Condo in Grand Lake

"Neat and tidy condo. The fireplace makes it extra cozy. I only wished for more dish towels and more than one trash bag."

  • Pretty cabin on the quiet side of Rocky Mountain National Park

"Our family of 5, parents plus 3 (ages 18 - 21), stayed at this lovely home for a week in August 2016. We went with the purpose of seeing Rocky Mountain National Park. The park is beautiful, especially if you can get out of bed early and head to the Alpine Visitors Center before the crowds, you will not be disappointed! This area is within 30 minutes of the house. It is also worth a drive to the other side of the park to do the trail for Bear Lake, Nymph Lake and Emerald Lake as well as Alberta Falls ...all at the same trailhead. However, once we saw the Estes Park side of the park, we were so glad we made the choice to be on the quiet, Grand Lake side of the park! Grand Lake is a beautiful, quaint town on a pretty lake. Estes Park is more like a suburban town in any state. We also rented an atv at On The Trail rentals, literally just around the corner from the house. We had a blast! And ....did I mention the moose? We saw many moose every day. There were a couple of males and a couple of moms and calves. The cabin definitely earned its name of the "Lucky Moose" during our stay! This cabin also had plenty of beds for all of us to sleep comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked. We also appreciated that there were some spices and other items left in the cabinets and fridge...those items you forget to pick up for a one time use when on vacation. The living area was very comfortable as well. We gathered on a nightly basis to watch the Olympics together in total comfort. The rental process was very easy and Michelle was very helpful with any questions. We would like to thank the O'Briens for a lovely, memorable stay at their beautiful cabin. We would highly recommend this house to families and couples."
