  • Late Spring/Early Summer Delight!

"This delightful condo is located in East Vail away from the mass of humanity that is Vail Village or Lionshead. This one bedroom unit is on the lower level of Building 9, "right on the beach"! The Gore Creek was running at full throttle and a delight to view and listen to as we ate our meals on the porch (on a delightful high top table) or enjoyed libations on the Adirondack chairs. The kitchen is nicely stocked as is the bathroom. TV and internet keep you connected. We used the condo as home base for hiking, mountain biking, trail running and exploring the adjacent towns of Leadville and Aspen. The club has a small restaurant, swimming pool, work-out equipment and outdoor grill/picnic area. Laundry facilities located in the building next-door (coin operated). Stock up on groceries at Safeway or City Market in West Vail as there is no close grocer other than a small market. We didn't us the bus to get to Vail Village as there was free summer parking in effect. The owner of the condo was a delight to work with. Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Relaxing getaway to Vail

"My wife and I stayed two nights in June for a quick getaway. Overall the unit was as described and we enjoyed our stay; here's a few things we liked and a few to be aware of if you are looking to book a place. The good: 1. The unit was clean, comfortable and best of all dark and quiet for sleeping. We even had a somewhat large and loud group below us, but we barely heard them. 2. Check in was quick and easy. The club has onsite staff which is reassuring if there is an issue. 3. Onsite restaurant was decent and very conveinant after the long drive 4. East Vail is quiet and peaceful, we hiked to nearby waterfalls after checking in and that was lovely. Not sure if we were on an official trail or not, but that might have made it more fun. 5. Great access to the Vail bus- we didn't use it, but it was there if you don't want to deal with parking 6. We didn't use the pool or hot tubs, but they looked nice. 7. Nice selection of movies available for guests. The not so good: 1. Unit is right next to Gore Creek and the creek was raging with spring runoff. Cool to look at, but if we had our daughter with us, I would have been a little concerned. I bet it is real nice once the peak flows die down. 2. East Vail only had one restaurant open (on-site), so you have to drive to town for any food. There was a market down the street that sold the basics and a little more, at Vail prices of course. 3. There is some highway noise outside. Not sure if you can really escape this in Vail since the interstate is never far away, but something to consider. Couldn't really hear it inside the unit. That's it, sorry for the list- I'm an engineer."

"This condo is wonderful and has everything you need. The owner is very responsive and accommodating and provides fantastic instructions on everything. It is clean and there is plenty of room for a couple. A 2 minute walk to the Town of Vail free bus. Kitchen as everything for your basic needs. Best place we have stayed in Vail. Highly recommended."

  • Great location; perfect for big or multifamily travel

"Short walk to bus that brings you to Vail (and maybe other resorts, but we just took it to Vail). Very close to the bus stop is the Racket club and Pool for the kids, to relax in after a long day of skiing. And don't forget the pub on the 2nd floor for some adult libations. We did drive to Beaver Creek (20 minutes) and Breckenridge (40 minutes), and Vail is about 10 minutes drive. We would stay here again, for sure. Had 4 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of space. Thanks much for making our trip a success!"
