  • It was a perfect property for our mountain getaway

"Thank you, Karen for sharing your beautiful condo with us. It was located in town and close to all our activities. Great rates and value for a 2 bedroom/2 bath in town. It was cheaper than booking a hotel."

  • A Winter Park Wonder

"An ideal family apartment well situated for easy access to both Winter Park ski resort and town. The half-hourly shuttle was superb, our kids measured that it was 56 paces from the front door to the shuttle stop. We ended up using the car mainly to store the ski’s in overnight and the run to the Safeway in Fraser (5-mins away). At the weekend, the Beaver Village Condominium’s shuttle ran additional services to the base of the mountain. We couldn’t really fault the apartment. It is exactly as it is shown in the photos and it is very well equipped. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us (and for the 8 of us when our friends from Fort Collins came to join us for the weekend). Importantly, it was warm and there was a good supply of hot water for showers, despite my daughters doing her best to empty the hot water tank while she sang her heart out to whatever is supposed to be popular music today. We visited the restaurants of Winter Park every other night. I don’t know whether it was because we stood out because we were English but absolutely everybody we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. On the other nights, we cooked in the apartment, the kitchen had all that we needed to cater for the 8 of us. When it was just the 4 of us there was enough crockery and cutlery that we only needed to turn the dishwasher on a couple of times during our stay. The laundry room in the club house was handy (and relatively cheap). It was quite handy to disappear from the kids for an hour or so, sprawl out on the sofa’s in the laundry room and read a book, while our smalls were being refreshed. Despite being the peak season, we always managed to get a hot tub to ourselves each time we visited the clubhouse. The BVC DVD collection was very extensive which we took full advantage of. (Our Après Ski evenings consisted of snuggling up on the sofa, watching movies and eating ice cream straight from the tub. We’ve have had a superb relationship with the owners since the very first contact regarding the apartment in Jul 15. (I’ve had less contact with close members of family over the last year.) Every query we had was answered promptly and the information provided was very reliable. I would return to this apartment in an instant. However I guess it’s going to take a while to save enough cash to cover the airfares, lift passes and ski hire again so it’ll be a while before we return. In the meantime I’m more than happy to recommend this apartment to others."

  • Repeat Renter

"Our family has rented this unit in the summer and fall and both times of the year were a fantastic experience. The last time we had 3 of our grandkids with us and they thought the condo was perfect. Enough space to spread out and the privacy of both bedrooms has always been a huge plus when having teenagers along. The two TV's are also a bonus for keeping different viewing choices available. The kitchen is just the right size that you can cook a meal if you want and the basics are there for you to whip something up. A short walk across the parking lot and you have a breathtaking view of the mountains and train tracks below. Theresa is great to work with and quick to respond to questions or providing valuable information about the area. Definitely a comfortable spot for a vacation!"
