  • Beautiful area, amazing home, wonderful owners

"Beautiful home and views. Owners are exceptional, very accommodating, go beyond what anyone would ever expect. Wonderful area with easy access to the Air Force Academy. Amazing on how you can travel so little but feel so far away."

  • Fantastic location, and just as advertised!

"My family and I stayed here for 4 days between Christmas and New Years, and everyone agreed it was a great experience. Beautiful scenery, everything worked great in the house, and a great location for accessing different activities located in the area such as Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, and other attractions. The elevation was perfect for a family of first-time visitors to the Rockies...high enough to start getting acclimated, but low enough to give relief to those who get affected by the higher altitudes at Pikes Peak. Overall, great stay! Thank you to the Wieses for sharing your home with us!"

  • Relaxing weekend in the cabin

"Very relaxing trip. Wilderness Cabin was great, directions were spot on. They're not kidding about the GPS thing--our friend who came later was routed down a very topsy-turvy road, whereas our drive was a breeze. Cabin is pretty no-frills but is comfortable and pretty clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the cooking necessities. The only downside to the cabin is that it was in need of a *deep* clean (cobwebs on the fan but who cares). The living space wasn't the most comfy; we were a group of 4 and anymore would've made hanging out in the living space too tight. Overall it was beautiful and a well-located yet secluded wilderness getaway. Hot tub was great"

  • BREATHTAKING!

"Our 3 night stay from August 31 to September 3rd, 2016 was not enough time at this beautiful house. The amenities are great, the views are beautiful and being able to sleep with the windows open on a summers night brought back so many memories of my childhood. We were a group of 10 middle aged adults and every single one of us was simply not ready to leave this beautiful home. A couple of the ladies took a hike, some of us just sat around and enjoyed nature from the balconies. The beds were very comfortable, my husband and I made all the reservations for our group trip so we had the honor of the master bedroom. My husband utilized the Sauna and the Jacuzzi tub, most relaxing was his response. We cook breakfast and dinner, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, everything we needed was available including spices. We were pleasantly surprised to have shampoo and conditioner, as well as laundry detergent. Overall we look forward to returning to this little piece of Heaven. The Casiano Group"
