  • Great cottage in the middle of downtown.

"We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is in the middle of everything and close to the bus stop up the mountain. The interior design is cozy and functional. We had a lot of snow and the front and back porches were shoveled for our arrival. Parking in the alley was convenient to the back door but the lock box for the keys is at the front door (so get your keys before you park or you will have to walk around the block to get them if there is a lot of snow). Although there is no cable or local channels there is a tv with a dvd player and apple tv. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable and the master bathroom is well appointed. There is no washer or dryer. Those of you who are planning on using the loft (which has two comfortable twin beds, I slept there for three nights ) beware, unless you are fit or a child you will have trouble getting up and down the iron ladder up into it. Overall, I would recommend you stay here. Its perfect for a couple or a family with two kids."

  • Perfect house for family ski vacation!

"We just returned from a fabulous week in this home with our family and another family. We had 10 people (4 adults, 2 teenagers and 4 kids under 12). Everyone had a bed and plenty of room to hang out and relax after an active day. The house is very functional, open, light, clean and the large backyard was so fun for the kids. They spent many hours building snow forts after skiing and we enjoyed several nights in the hot tub! We biked to town for lunch and shopping, so easy & fun on our day off from skiing! The kitchen was open, completely stocked, and easy for 4 adults to function in at the same time. We loved the short walk to catch the bus up to the mountain for skiing (can't beat being the last stop for riding up the hill and the first ones off on the way home). We definitely recommend renting the ski locker to store boots and helmets in overnight and lunch or extra gear in while on the hill! The property owner is also very easy to work with and was always very responsive to help us prepare for our week! We will absolutely look to rent this house again the next time we go to CB! Love this town!"

  • Dream home with a log cabin design and feel, private location yet walk to town and amazing views!!

"Quit looking elsewhere and book this place, you will be hard pressed to find another with such great accommodations and location. The upstairs is great for cooking, hanging out, and amazing views! The main floor has the master and two other bedrooms, each with a bathroom and shower (master has jacuzzi!). The lower level has the other bedroom and a bathroom down there with shower. There is a "game room" that is between this bedroom and the bathroom, we used this "game room" for one of the couples bedroom so we all had our own room to sleep in. We walked to town one night and it was easy and enjoyable. We drove to the mountain each day to ride, this was roughly a 5 minute drive, so close! This place has you wishing it was yours, we would stay again no question about it. One thing to note in the winter, there are only two parking spaces at the property, you may need to park additional vehicles down in town or nearby where available."

  • The Wild Rose

"What an amazing powder filled two weeks in CB! The house was equipped with everything needed. Warm and cozy while we watched and enjoyed the abundance of snow this year. The jacuzzi was used every day after a long day on the slopes or nordic tracks. Best location for amazing meals and shopping. Games and puzzles kept us busy during the snowy evenings. Love that the location of the master bedroom as our young adult children could enjoy their own space at the front of the house. Plus the amazing hallway room has plenty of space for all ski/boarding gear and jackets!"
