  • Beautiful home in downtown CB - we had a blast!

"The house is very well done and pretty much everything we needed was there. The space has great flow, but privacy if you want it. Lots of sunlight, warm and just plain cozy! Parking is tricky, but that is always the case on a snowy year on CB. We certainly hope to stay again in the future!"

  • 2nd Year in a Row!

"2nd year in a row we stayed at this property! The house is split into 2 sides, couldn't see or hear if someone was even staying on the side. The pre-arrival communication was excellent by the homeowner! The property is clean and the outside is well maintained. It's the perfect rental house, for proximity to town and to ski mountain."

  • Moon, Stars, and Blue Heaven

"My family spent 10 days at Blue Heaven and enjoyed every second. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac with breath-taking views of Mt Crested Butte from the 2nd fl deck. The location is a combination of conveniences, whether running / hiking up Peanut Lake or getting ice cream at Third Bowl on Elk Ave. The 2nd floor of the house is the main attraction. We fully utilized the open kitchen which is very well stocked with all the necessary equipment. In fact, while we visit CB almost every summer, I can honestly say I have never rented a place that is so well-equipped: food containers, water bottles, SHARP knives, aluminum foil... Need a Vitamix? Yes. We grilled on the deck, soaked in the hot tub, feasted with guests at the 10 person dining table, all while basking in the gorgeous views of the mountains. While the Master bedroom with en-suite bath is upstairs (also another half bath upstairs), the other two bedrooms are downstairs along with another full bath. There is a den/study downstairs too if you need to get away from the upstairs buzz. Or if you really need to get away, you can use the spare bedroom (w/ half bath) attached to the garage. There is no lack of sleeping capacity. The owners use Iron Horse Property Mgt to help maintain the house. They are extremely attentive to client requests and even came to visit to make sure we had everything we needed. In my opinion, this helps calm worries about small things like "the wifi's not working" or "there's no hot water" which is sort of why you want to go on vacation in the first place. The combination of all these amenities with the convenience of the town's restaurants and services, set in the beauty of Mt Crested Butte, truly allows Blue Heaven to live up to its name, and then some."

  • Quirky and comfortable! Great location. Perfect for families.

"Family of 6 had a blast in this Victorian house. It was warm and fun for our young kids. The convenience to the bus, stores and restaurants was wonderful! We didn't use a car once. Plenty of room for a large group. The recently renovated kitchen with the huge long table was our favorite."
