  • Perfect

"We have stayed at Tony's home for 4 years now during ski season and it is in the perfect location to catch the bus for the slopes or take a walk into town for dinner or shopping. Cozy home with Colorado feel all around. We will continue to rent it for many years to come. Thank you sooooooooo much Tony for Sharing a piece of heaven with us. Pam and Stan Chase"

  • Beautiful views

"Gorgeous, peaceful location with wildlife all around. We saw a bear, spotted fox and deer right out the back deck. Incredible views of Mt. Crested Butte. The house is great for a family reunion. Our teenage kids loved the dormer above the garage."

  • Excellent historic cottage in great location

"Our family of four stayed at Karla's over New Year's 2015 for a ski vacation. As other's have mentioned, the location of the cottage is fantastic if you wish to be in town. It was a short walk to the shopping, restaurants and bars of Elk, and the town bus stopped at 3rd and Whiterock, which is about 25' from the front door. We used the bus every day to the ski area and it was super easy, even for our 8 year old in his boots and carrying his skis. The local grocery store is only 3 blocks away, along with the liquor store. We didn't use our car the entire trip. The house is small, but you should expect that from an historic mining cabin. The kitchen is very well provisioned and the owners have done a great job decorating. It gets warm in the 2nd floor loft when using the wood stove, we had to crack a window. Alpine Getaways, the rental agent, is great, highly recommended."

  • Fairy Tale Cabin Close to Everything

"Really cute and quaint little cabin one block from the main street. Had everything you need (pots, pans, stove, fridge, washer/dryer) for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was a great home base for us to explore the town and surrounding attractions. Can't wait to come back."
