"The property is wonderful! The view from the deck is breathtaking! looking out over the river, watching the train go to Silverton while you're having coffee is wonderful. The location is perfect, not far from downtown."

  • Good upkept condo in a beautiful location

"The condo was very nice for our stay. The condo is older, but is kept up with updates and cleanliness. Nice huge bathroom and my daughter enjoyed the jetted tub. The owner has a very nice selection of coffee for renters to use which was a treat! The owner also had a lot of info about the area and how to get to fishing and hiking spots and also restaurants(the schoolhouse pizza place pizza was awesome). Pool and hot tub inside was good the outside hot tubs burned your skin, so hopefully they have that fixed, I'm sure, by now. The view from the condo balcony and just the whole area is beautiful. We would come back, my only con about the whole place was a very uncomfortable bed in the bedroom, might have to switch to the foam pullout couch next time!! Thank you Rhonda for sharing your place with us you made our stay very enjoyable!!"

  • Beat the Heat July 2016

"We had a wonderful stay. Cool mornings temps in the 50's and high temps in the 80's. Edelweiss is a great location if you are seeking outdoor actives, hiking, rafting, zip line, alpine sledding, mountain biking, horse back riding and of course the cowboy cookout a Bar D ranch. Durango is an easy drive only 25 minutes away but we did notice the 10 degree higher temp while in town. We had 7 in our group so there was ample room for us. Highly recommend this condo and Rich the properly manager was very helpful and easy to contact."

  • Cute cabin with gorgeous views

"Our family of five spent five nights in this comfortable cabin outside of Durango. We loved the views of the pond and sighted the local beaver several evenings. We really enjoyed spending time in Durango--such a cute town! We had a couple of great meals at the Brew Pub and the fun Bar D Chuckwagon. We took a day trip to Mesa Verde (about an hour's drive) and loved the ranger-led tour of Cliff Palace. We took several short, beautiful hikes near the property. We loved just hanging out at the cabin in the evenings, playing games and watching movies. We were awe-struck by the stars at night--our kids saw a prolonged meteor shower for the first time, which was so fun and exciting. Silverton and Ouray were stops on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park, where we spent the remainder of our Colorado adventure. This cabin was well-equipped and located near lots of great sights and activities. We highly recommend this rental for anyone visiting the Durango area!"
