  • rustic with modern niceties

"We scheduled a last minute visit and were lucky enough to get this cabin. It is set far enough outside town you get a feel of remoteness, but not so far that you can't enjoy touristy things to do. The cabin has all the modern things that make one comfortable (except internet, but that's why most of us carry mobile phones) and is not far from hikes and waterfalls. There's a wide porch, a porch swing, comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and one and a half bathrooms...perfect for our family with two young kids and a dog. Beautiful! Thanks for letting us "get away" for a bit."

  • Clean! Clean! Clean!

"The location is perfect, quiet, and only a short walk to town on the concrete walking path. The condo was extremely clean and had everything you could imagine needing while away from home. The owner has done a great job appointing her home! Pagosa Springs was great for a summertime getaway! Hiking, fishing, rafting, and tubing were all a blast in the perfect temperature of a Colorado summer!"

  • Great and welcoming place

"This was a really nice place to stay. It was cute and quaint. We had everything we needed and we were plenty despite the snow storm that had blasted Colorado the previous day. We could get to everything easily within driving distance. The only thing is I would remind anyone coming here in the winter months is that this is Colorado and snow storms do happen so you need to be cognizant of that and plan accordingly with your vehicle. We have a small car and did not think to get chains or cables for it. Needless to say we could not make it up to the top of the street where the house is located because we would slide down every time. Luckily we were able to park at the end of the cul de sac and lug our luggage and ice chests up the street (which is about a football field in length). But if you are prepared that should not be a problem. This place was very comfortable and we would certainly come back, although better prepared."
