  • Beautiful Views- Great Location

"This home fit our needs perfectly. The beautiful panoramic views made us feel like we really had a getaway vacation. The location was great for us to take in the sights at Mesa Verde and have some fun in Durango. It was easy to find. The beds were in good shape. We enjoyed using the barbecue grill and many spices/staples were already at the house. Go to the Bar D Chuckwagon in Durango! It was a hoot and all of us enjoyed it- from age 23-56!"

  • Accomodating Cabin at 7,500'

"The drive into the neighborhood greets you with speed bumps and hilly roads like, Steep Road, which identifies it to a tee. The all wooden cabin was warm and accommodating. The stairs were steep leading to the wrap around porch. The view from the porch was beautiful but bested by the master bedrooms veranda. There is everything you need in terms of cook ware including large bowls and a variety of cooking utensils. There is a heart warming assortment of quality spices, teas, coffee and games left from previous guests. There is no fire pit outside. Probably for good reason. The woods are close and all around almost obscuring the neighbors from view."

  • Cute cabin with gorgeous views

"Our family of five spent five nights in this comfortable cabin outside of Durango. We loved the views of the pond and sighted the local beaver several evenings. We really enjoyed spending time in Durango--such a cute town! We had a couple of great meals at the Brew Pub and the fun Bar D Chuckwagon. We took a day trip to Mesa Verde (about an hour's drive) and loved the ranger-led tour of Cliff Palace. We took several short, beautiful hikes near the property. We loved just hanging out at the cabin in the evenings, playing games and watching movies. We were awe-struck by the stars at night--our kids saw a prolonged meteor shower for the first time, which was so fun and exciting. Silverton and Ouray were stops on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park, where we spent the remainder of our Colorado adventure. This cabin was well-equipped and located near lots of great sights and activities. We highly recommend this rental for anyone visiting the Durango area!"

  • Great powder days

"Dumped spring powder while we were there. Very comfortable place. If you don't like stairs - don't rent it - everything is on different level - but it's a great layout. The condo is also really tucked in so don't expect views of anything but other condos. But the whole point is to get outside and be part of the view!! It's in a convenient location near lift 7 - the Goose picks you up to go downtown but we walked - it's more fun."
