  • Simply perfect!

"My wife and 3 boys had a fantastic time at the home! The outdoor living was the #1 highlight for us, as we spent a ton of time grilling on the patio, hanging out by the river, around the campfire or in the hot tub at night. The only trouble with the area was the cell phone coverage was really bad (Verizon), which is not anything against the home, and in some ways it's nice to have the disconnection when you're on vacation! We would definitely stay there again - Laurie was an excellent host!!"

  • Great and welcoming place

"This was a really nice place to stay. It was cute and quaint. We had everything we needed and we were plenty despite the snow storm that had blasted Colorado the previous day. We could get to everything easily within driving distance. The only thing is I would remind anyone coming here in the winter months is that this is Colorado and snow storms do happen so you need to be cognizant of that and plan accordingly with your vehicle. We have a small car and did not think to get chains or cables for it. Needless to say we could not make it up to the top of the street where the house is located because we would slide down every time. Luckily we were able to park at the end of the cul de sac and lug our luggage and ice chests up the street (which is about a football field in length). But if you are prepared that should not be a problem. This place was very comfortable and we would certainly come back, although better prepared."

  • Perfect

"7 women stayed here three nights. This lovely and well-stocked home suited our needs perfectly. Each of us had our own room with the exception of one person who slept in the loft. As the backyard borders the National Forest, the views from the spacious living room were beautiful. We especially enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and stores. One of us actually needed to go to the hospital and so we were grateful that it was a short trip to the Emergency Room. This home was very clean with ample linens and supplies for everyone."

  • Great week at the San Juan River Village/Wolf Creek townhouse

"We had a great week at this property! It was very clean, very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped with dishes, cooking utensils and basic cooking needs. ( Spices, oils, condiments etc.) The back yard was delightful with fire ring and plenty of wood for a camp fire to make smores. Pagosa Springs was easy to get to from this location for shopping and going to The Springs (mineral springs for soaking). There were many trailheads in this area for hiking in the National Forests.Wish we could have stayed longer and are seriously considering a return visit."
