  • Perfect

"7 women stayed here three nights. This lovely and well-stocked home suited our needs perfectly. Each of us had our own room with the exception of one person who slept in the loft. As the backyard borders the National Forest, the views from the spacious living room were beautiful. We especially enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and stores. One of us actually needed to go to the hospital and so we were grateful that it was a short trip to the Emergency Room. This home was very clean with ample linens and supplies for everyone."

  • hummingbird haven

"This place was awesome. It is in a great little neighborhood to walk or run in. The location is great, cheating towards the pass but yet very close to town. The house was clean and heated up easily. The porches are great to relax on, as is the family room. Overall this was a great place to spend a week!"

  • Nice secluded location close to town

"This property is 100% advertised correctly. The property was very clean and well maintained. I especially enjoyed morning coffee outside the cabin. We saw deer in the morning across the meadow. Bring your own lawn chairs. The fact that I could bring my dog was important to me when selecting accommodations. The owners could not have been more accomodating this regard. The property is secluded but not too far from town. We cooked supper in the cabin and everything worked out fine - just plan on doing everything stove top or in the microwave. I brought two extra cooking vessels and a small cooler."

  • Great and welcoming place

"This was a really nice place to stay. It was cute and quaint. We had everything we needed and we were plenty despite the snow storm that had blasted Colorado the previous day. We could get to everything easily within driving distance. The only thing is I would remind anyone coming here in the winter months is that this is Colorado and snow storms do happen so you need to be cognizant of that and plan accordingly with your vehicle. We have a small car and did not think to get chains or cables for it. Needless to say we could not make it up to the top of the street where the house is located because we would slide down every time. Luckily we were able to park at the end of the cul de sac and lug our luggage and ice chests up the street (which is about a football field in length). But if you are prepared that should not be a problem. This place was very comfortable and we would certainly come back, although better prepared."
