"I had the joy of spending the last week in March at this gorgeous mountain retreat with my daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, and their friend's family. We filled this lovely home with laughter and fun as we turned it into our home away from home. My son-in-law is an avid snowboarder and introduced the grandsons (ages 3 and 5) to skiing. The boys along with 3 adults in our group took advantage of the ski school offered at Mt Crested Butte. In one day they had all gained some degree of ease on the skis. By the 2nd day, the 5 yr old had actually gone up on the lift. We were all thrilled to see the entire family on skis! And it was a delight for me to make the short trip to the slopes and watch their progress. The home itself is fabulous! It has every amenity one can imagine. Our entire party consisted of 7 adults and 5 children (ranging in age from 18 months to 5 years). We were all more than comfortable and each had privacy. We shopped for groceries in Gunnison and prepared most of our meals in the fabulous kitchen. The restaurant grade gas range is a dream to cook on! We ate several great meals in Crested Butte on the days we shopped in the quaint shops in town. Never had a bad meal! BTW, there's a great grill on the back deck for steaks! But being from the old school, I enjoyed having family dinners at the huge dining room table at the house. When we weren't eating or snacking, we had fun times playing board games with the children. (I highly recommend Pie Face. The kids and adults loved it.). The home has numerous games there but I brought some too, including Pie Face. One night just adults went out to eat. A babysitting service from the ski school was used and she handled 5 children with ease. When we weren't skiing or eating, I took long walks around the area; played with the children in the snow; built snowmen and had snowball fights; watched the boys sledding; read a novel and rested. My son and son-in-law hit the hot tub every afternoon enjoying the hot water as snow blew on their faces. Several nights we built a roaring fire in the fireplace and watched movies. As you can tell, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. Hopefully, my grandchildren will become great skiers and I can continue to visit this majestic area with my entire family. One dream I have is to return in the summer for the wildflower festival!!! Thanks for many memories that have already been made during our stays in your beautiful and gracious home!"

  • Enjoyed our stay. Good location

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The Condo was clean and spacious. There were two adults and four kids. All of us slept comfortably and with three full baths there was never a wait issue. The condo was stocked well with kitchen supplies and games for the kids. It is well located in town. Quiet and in a nice setting. Plenty of storage too. Short walk to the Gondola and restaurants. If you are a skier - it's across the street from a lift. The owner was very responsive and lovely to meet. No complaints! We would stay here again."

  • Great!

"We loved this house! It was awesome for our large group! The only thing I might offer is that they could improve their selection of utensils and kitchen ware. For example, there were no large spoons or ladles and there was no pitcher that we could use to make tea. But besides that it was wonderful. Large spacious rooms and great layout. Loved the balcony and living area."

  • Amazing!

"I rented this cabin for my family of 14 and it was perfect! We we're all very comfortable, and we all enjoyed every bit of the cabin from making smores on the fire pit, to playing in the river, to playing games and watching the game in the game room! And the town is not to far away, there's a lot to do in pagosa, our favorite was horseback riding through the Rocky Mountains IN THE RAIN! Unforgettable adventure!! We will definitely go back :)"
