  • Comfortable and Convenient

"We (two couples) were visiting Litchfield County for a few days for leisure and this house was a perfect location. The house, Stone-Pecha, is not only equipped with anything you could need or want, but also well-appointed with beautiful and whimsical artwork, making the house a warm place to settle in each night. We found ourselves lingering over morning coffee on the back deck and reconvening there for the nighttime sky. The house sits at the end of a short street, and looks out onto a wooded area. Although there are houses close by, it’s very quiet and peaceful. The house is accurately portrayed in the VRBO descriptions and Sharyn was responsive and helpful. The house is just a short walk to the town center where you’ll find numerous restaurant choices and local retailers. Litchfield was a great jumping off point for our site-seeing ventures. We enjoyed beautiful hikes, scenic drives, farmstand stops and some great local ice cream and cheese! I would not hesitate to stay in this property again. It was lovely."

  • A little bit of heaven this summer

"Beautiful, well-maintained home and property. The view is just spectacular! Owners could not be more lovely and easy to deal with. We stayed for half of July and August into Labor Day. The layout of the house is fantastic for entertaining with modern/new amenities. We ended up hosting a few family birthday wknds while we were there and there was plenty of space and fun things to do (pool, lake, cooking-out, hiking, canoeing, etc..). So relaxing and quiet, but convenient to Wilton and Westport if you're looking for more action. I have the best memories from this summer!"

  • Unplugged, But Not Remote

"My husband and I needed to unplug. So, we spent the latter part of September at Ennis Cottage – a home-away-from home: comfy, cozy, clean, and well-equipped, cool during the hot spell, and warmed when weather turned cool. The bed, very important for my bad back, was totally comfortable and provided a really restful sleep. The cordial and conscientious owners provided a binder with answers to almost all the questions guests usually ask. Yet they were available to answer queries. A private beach across the street offered a super place to enjoy the fresh air, sunshine, and a great swim. Yet not far away was a wide selection of restaurants, plus great markets for fresh fish, meat and vegetables. Although we did check our e-mail daily, the tv remained untouched. So much to enjoy. The time flew, and it was hard to leave. Our thanks to the friendly and caring owners for doing everything to make us eager to return."
