  • Quaint and quiet town

"We thoroughly enjoyed our first vacation in Bethany Beach. So nice and relaxing. Great to have the community pool to use as well as the trolley. Beautiful town. Great Beach and boardwalk area shops. And most importantly, it was wonderful to have our four-legged family member with us on vacation. The house was spacious enough for our family of 6 and close to all restaurants, shops and the beach. Love, love and hope to return!"

  • Great place!

"I booked this summer vacation getaway for me, my 82 year old Mama and sister and we had a great time. First as several have mentioned in previous reviews, having a covered parking space so close to the elevators was great. Second, the unit was very clean with a good sized kitchen. Even though there were only three of us I liked having 2 bathrooms. And the beds were comfortable so we always had a good nights sleep. Also, while the Sea Colony passes are $40 per person, this unit has a storage locker with chairs and umbrella's in it which meant we didn't have to rent them, that helped with costs. We didn't spend a ton of time in doors as we all love the beach and we had perfect beach weather every day! I enjoyed the fitness amenities at Sea Colony (I took the water aerobics class) and they have a ton of other workouts available. A key aspect of renting this unit was the responsiveness of the owner. When we couldn't figure out where the trash chute was, or the storage locker, or when we had a backed up sink and a little difficulty closing a cabinet door, the owner responded right away and took care of things. It was greatly appreciated! We had a wonderful week and hope to be back next year."

  • Excellent South Bethany Beach House

"It's a wonderful house. The great room is huge with very high ceilings; the bedrooms are very nice; and the bathrooms are each a good size. The house has nice, comfortable furniture. Absolutely agree with the other reviewers about the screened-in-porch: it felt like we were tucked into the woods. The house felt like home - warm and relaxing. I would absolutely stay there again. I highly recommend the house."

  • Charming, Quiet, and Close to Everything

"Our family of 5 (myself, my husband, our 6-year-old and my parents) just returned from a wonderful stay at this cozy, welcoming townhome. The property was perfectly clean when we arrived, and the layout was perfect for us, as each bedroom has an adjoined full bath. Despite its small footprint, the townhouse was extremely well-appointed and the bedrooms were quite spacious. We had everything we needed and were pleased to find nice little extras like hand soap and hair dryers in the bathrooms, garbage bags and tin foil in the kitchen, and dryer sheets and an extra basket in the laundry closet. The view out the sliding door to the immaculately-clean pool was lovely, as was the landscaping in the courtyard area. The townhouse itself was very quiet, as we never heard the neighbors or each other from one bedroom to another (which is important when putting young children to bed before the adults!). In fact, we were surprised at how quiet the complex as a whole was - it's in a prime location across from a Walgreens, a liquor store and a crab house, but is set back in its own little utopia, so it doesn't feel at all as if it's right off Route 1. I made good use of one of the two bikes left out front since the center of Bethany is only about a 5-minute ride or a pleasant 15-minute walk down the side streets from the complex. The beach was only a 5-minute walk, which made it easy for us to spend the morning in the waves, lunchtime at the pool, and the afternoon back at the beach again. I will absolutely stay here again when we return to Bethany Beach. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, Tom!"
