  • Great spot for the whole family

"It was a pleasant surprise to see the location of this house. It was at the end of a canal of mangroves, not too far of a boat ride to the ocean to do some snorkeling or to go further out to do some fishing. It was also a short drive to John Pennekamp State park. The house was beautifully decorated and had plenty of room for the 12 people we had in our group. The kitchen was great with large fridge and new washer and dryer that we used quite a bit! The pictures of the pool does not do it justice, it was against the house and stay shaded on one side and very clean. They had 2 kayaks that came with the house so we were able to enjoy time kayaking through the mangroves (we found manatees, a mom and 2 babies). The kids (and adults) really enjoyed having a pool table and ping pong table when it got too hot outside. There were 3 bedrooms upstairs (one master with an on suite and the other 2 bedrooms shared a bathroom) and also 2 bedrooms downstairs. My only negative would be there were no bathrooms downstairs, so whoever slept downstairs had to walk upstairs to use the restroom! I would, without a doubt, stay here again. Key Largo is definitely not as 'busy' as a little further south like Islamorada, but still have some great stores and restuarants to visit. I suggest going to Bayside Grille to watch the sunset and sit downstairs, they had great food and the bartenders/waiters did an amazing job keeping up with the crowd. We were taking this trip to spend time together as a family and the location of the house and activities we could do without leaving the house made that possible. Raisa and her husband were very kind in making sure we had a great stay. Thanks again!"

  • Perfect

"Awesome trip! We didn't spend a lot of time home, as we were out exploring and traveling the Keys during our stay, but the time we did spend at the rental was great. We enjoyed going on bike rides as well as kayaking the mangroves. I didn't realize the neighborhood was right up against John Pennecamp Park until we met a neighbor who filled us in while we were on the water. Beautiful setting and amazing amenities."

  • Need to relax? This is the place!

"We spent 2 months here this past winter 2017. Capt.Pete and Jenny are the best! They were there to greet us on arrival and show us around. If we needed anything, they were on it. We enjoyed not only a boat ride each month but my husband was invited by Capt. Pete to go on a fishing excursion. We used the bikes daily (as well as the hot tub) and there is a awesome beach about 20 minutes away. There are many many great restaurants close by too! I would recommend this exceptionally clean, well kept home for your next vacation!"
