  • Very nice property

"Stayed 1 week with 2 teenage sons. We had a blast & this home is perfect. Has everything you could want & very clean. Loved the back yard on the canal. Will return again."

  • Beautiful unit & views.......Highly recommend.

"First, I have stayed at this property several times over the years & found the previous 2 reviews to be extremely nit-picky & over-the-top negative. We had a very good experience. We found everything we needed in the kitchen (dishes, etc) as we did in rest of the unit. We were very comfortable & found unit to be clean & comfortable. Gay is a good communicator & was available to answer our questions. We enjoyed the area & walking to Key Colony Inn for dinners. Cabana Club is a real plus. Thank you Gay for sharing your home. We hope to come again next Spring."

  • Spacious and as beautiful as the pictures!

"My family (two adults & 4 children) along with my sister's family (2 adults & 2 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean and lovely maintained home in Key Colony Beach. We love this area because it is so close to so many places like: the Dolphin Research Center, The Art Studio, Hook's Marina as well as great restaurants ( Sunset Grill & Lazy Days). It is located on one of the nicest streets and we enjoyed walking from here to Sunset Park. You can see part of the Vaca Cut. The layout of the home was perfect for our group of ten. The open kitchen with the latest appliances gave us plenty of area to cook and dine. The wrap around porches on the second and third levels were wonderful areas to relax and watch the sun set. Outdoors, the kids enjoyed the large pool. The dock on the canal was perfect for parking our 23ft boat. We would definitely like to return to this lovely home on our next trip to the Keys. The only suggestion I would make is to replace the current washing machine and dryer for they are a little dated but not a big deal!"

  • Beautifully furnished, Perfect Location

"Our family had a wonderful time at the Hammerhead Cottage! Key Colony Beach is the perfect base camp - in the middle of Marathon, great amenities (pool/beach), close to grocery/convenience stores, relaxing atmosphere and boat access to spectacular fishing. We got off to a bumpy start due to a snafu with the cleaning company. Natalie immediately took care of the issue! The cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated - Natalie has exceptional taste. The house is well-stocked with just about everything you could possibly need during your stay. We rented a boat and having the dock, cleaning table and bait freezer at the house made our fishing excursions easy and carefree. The girls even fished right off the dock, catching a nurse shark and a barracuda! We visited the Turtle Hospital (be sure to make reservations - they get busy), Sombrero Beach, and snorkeled at Sombrero Reef. Fishing was fun and we got lucky with some snapper! We'll definitely be back!"
