  • Key Colony Beach Stay

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It included everything we needed. We really liked the Cabana Club, which is right across the street, and we enjoyed walking the neighborhood every morning. There's only one way in and out of the community so there's very little traffic. Sunset Park is an easy walk and the sunsets there are amazing. We ate at the Key Colony Inn, which is also an easy walk from the unit, and had probably the best fresh fish I've ever had! Sparky's is nice, they will even cook the fish you caught! The front porch is nice and shady, a great place to have a drink and read! The agent, Bonnie, was very helpful and provided suggested places to visit and eat! She was very responsive throughout the process and made it so easy. I would definitely stay here again!"

  • Perfect Family Vacation

"This Condo was cute, comfortable, and calming! The owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect beach vacation. The groundskeepers are nice and informative as well. A few MUST SEE places: Turtle Hospital (my favorite), Robbie's in Islamorada (make sure you feed the tarpon!), & Grecian Rocks in Key Largo. Of course venture down to Key West and check out all the fun! Our favorite restaurants: Sunset Grille & Raw Bar, Robbie's, & Castaway. Marathon is the perfect place for adventure and rest & relaxation! However, it would not have been complete with Diane and her hospitality! Thanks Diane for helping my family create memories that we will all cherish forever!"

  • Perfect stay in paradise!

"We, 3 adults and 2 kids stayed for 2 weeks in this great place. Everything about our stay was perfect. The island, inch beach, the pool at the Cabana club and the house itself. It's situated in walking distance to all these great places. Its very spacious and well equipped with everything you need, especially towels. Also a great plus were the people we met there. The neighbor took us out three times for snorkeling and fishing. Never had such an experience of kindness! Snorkeling at Sombrero beach lighthouse was just awesome! We saw dolphins, sea turtles and bull sharks. We highly recommend this place as there is nothing negative about it. It's just perfect. And last but not least we want to thank Jean for the best booking procedure we ever had! This was outstanding!!! We will definitely return to this place as this was the 3rd time on the Keys and there was no place which comes even close!"

  • Plenty of Pros, a few Cons

"We just got home from our stay here and figured we would share our experience. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely return. There were plenty of Pros, and a few Cons to this rental. Pros- 1- The location was perfect. We never stayed in Key Colony Beach before and when we return we will definitely be staying there. There were a few great restaurants within walking distance, our favorite being Sparky's Landing which we went to 4 times. 2- Access to the Cabana Club was a huge bonus. It was great for the days you wanted to just lounge around and drink by (or in) the pool or go to the beach. The food and drinks there were all great and very reasonably priced. The beach there was also very well maintained and had very little if any sea grass. 3- THE BACK YARD!- The back yard was amazing and was perfect for fishing and sight seeing. We caught a ton of fish right off the dock like snapper, grunts, catfish, and a few others we couldn't identify. We were also visited daily by some manatee which the kids loved and saw sting rays, barracuda, and some Sargent Majors directly under the dock. We brought our kayak and paddle board and enjoyed nightly sunset paddles. 3-The property manager (Barry I believe) was extremely attentive to any issues we had and was over within minutes to help. 4-Garage storage space!- we couldn't find many other units that had this amenity and allowed us to store our bicycles and fishing equipment in. 5- Included a garage full of goodies to use including 3 kayaks, bicycles, tons of fishing equipment and tackle, life jackets etc. Everything was in much better shape than what we expected from a vacation rental. 6-The master bed was amazing. It was some sort of memory foam mattress and both my wife and I slept amazing while there. There was also an abundance of towels, linens etc, that were great. Cons- 1- The toilet in the master bath was kind of wobbly. We were afraid we were going to tip over when we first got there but got used to it by the end. 2-the kitchen faucet is extremely loose and not well fitted. We were afraid it was going to rip off whenever we washed dishes or our hands. A simple tightening of the nut under the sink should fix it. 3- the couches in the living room are extremely worn and could be replaced. That being said they were very comfortable and I actually fell asleep on one the first night which I haven't done in ages. The Pros definitely outweigh the cons for this unit and we will definitely ret"
