  • We loved this place !!!!!

"This house was perfect for us. The home is very well kept, fully stocked with everything you could need and more !! The dock was just right for our boat ,and to have the cleaning station and a bait/fish freezer made it even better !!! The property manager greg, answered my phone calls each and every time I had questions , he made it so nice to deal with someone who cares about what he does and the people he's dealing with . Without a doubt we will be back !!"

  • Exceptional!

"Rented this home from the Fosters based on the pictures and reviews posted on the VRBO site. Our experience there was better than we could have expected. We found the home to be just as pictured, clean, and neat. Everything you could need was there for your use. Information and access keys were readily available and instructions for use were provided. Freddie was there when we arrived and offered all kinds of advice and assistance to us regarding the home, the beaches, fishing advice, restaurants and the like. He even offered me bait he had in the freezer! If you can't relax and feel at ease in this home you have a problem. You could spend your time just in the back yard, catching fish off the dock, giving water to the manatees, feeding fish to the egrets, watching the iguanas and soaking up the sun. Inch beach is quiet and secluded and a wonderful place for the family, just a two minute walk across the street. Bike riding or walking around the island is safe with plenty of beautiful homes to see. the "open market" at the park was really nice with good food for sale and beautiful crafts. As an aside, the Fosters neighbors were very friendly and easy to talk to, readily offering advice on places to dine, and things to do. I would rate this home, the Fosters, and KCB a six star experience. It is not a question of if we would rent this property again, but rather when we can make the time to get back here and hopefully find the home available. Thank you Freddie and Cheryl for your home and the wonderful experience you were instrumental in our having!"

  • Very Enjoyable Stay!!!!

"What a cute duplex!!! We were very fortunate to stay for 2 weeks in this quaint duplex on a very broad canal. Imagine our pleasant surprise to find that there is an underwater light off of the seawall...evening entertainment watching the fish swim by! We had a rental boat while down there...fished as hard as the weather would allow! All cooking implements provided...but if you enjoy cooking in...remember to bring your spices! There was only salt and pepper, but we always assume so, so no problem there! Had great communication with Dee..who also welcomed us with some adult beverage! An A+ after driving 8 hours! Thanks for allowing a slice of your paradise! Hope to stay again in the near future!"

  • Only thing nicer than this home was Tom and Christ

"The pictures and reviews for this home are great. They still do not do justice for how nice our experience was here. Tom and Christine are extremely helpful and very quick with responses. The home was perfect for our family vacation. It was our second time to Key Colony, and though our first time was nice we will try to stay here now every time we come to Marathon. The kitchen has everything you would have at home, the furnishings are nice and up to date, and it is convenient to everything you may want to see or do. Even if that is just having a relaxing drink with family at the Tiki Bar out back while watching the fish feed. I brought my green fishing light and we stayed outside at night fishing after coming back in off the boat. We caught plenty of pinfish for bait every night right off the dock. (Tradition of ours is to leave something for next visitors so we left two new pinfish traps under the fish cleaning station). This way all the fisherman can use them as we did. We will definitely be back and hopefully Tom and Christine's home will be available."
