  • Excellent family vacation destination

"My family and I arrived at the rental after a long drive and the rental was refreshingly clean, and stocked with everything we needed just like home. Plenty of room for a teenager, child, grandmother, and my husband and I to retreat and spread out in the rental. Location was incredible, because Marathon is in the center of the Keys, so we could take a short trip to many adventures in the area, such as snorkeling and fishing, which I highly recommend both while your there. There was no crowds, no hustle and bustle, and no waiting in lines anywhere we went. The front porch was wonderful in the evenings for just relaxing and enjoying the breeze and view of the ocean. The Cabana Club is located across the street, and it was nice to swim in the cool pool on a hot day. The beach was incredible to swim and lounge at! The staff at the Cabana club was very friendly and answered questions and gave suggestions on dining and activities in the area. The owner of the rental was quick to respond to questions, and very helpful! Definitely plan on returning!"

  • Exceptional!

"Rented this home from the Fosters based on the pictures and reviews posted on the VRBO site. Our experience there was better than we could have expected. We found the home to be just as pictured, clean, and neat. Everything you could need was there for your use. Information and access keys were readily available and instructions for use were provided. Freddie was there when we arrived and offered all kinds of advice and assistance to us regarding the home, the beaches, fishing advice, restaurants and the like. He even offered me bait he had in the freezer! If you can't relax and feel at ease in this home you have a problem. You could spend your time just in the back yard, catching fish off the dock, giving water to the manatees, feeding fish to the egrets, watching the iguanas and soaking up the sun. Inch beach is quiet and secluded and a wonderful place for the family, just a two minute walk across the street. Bike riding or walking around the island is safe with plenty of beautiful homes to see. the "open market" at the park was really nice with good food for sale and beautiful crafts. As an aside, the Fosters neighbors were very friendly and easy to talk to, readily offering advice on places to dine, and things to do. I would rate this home, the Fosters, and KCB a six star experience. It is not a question of if we would rent this property again, but rather when we can make the time to get back here and hopefully find the home available. Thank you Freddie and Cheryl for your home and the wonderful experience you were instrumental in our having!"

  • It felt like home....

"It was the perfect week. My husband and I needed some down time from our crazy life and my 15 year old son needed to detach from the electronics.. Diane made everything so easy, from sending out info about things to do to booking her condo. She has everything you could possibly need ready and waiting for you, just pack your swimsuit , shorts , t-shirts, flip flops and GO! We bought fishing poles from captain hooks and rented bikes and kayaks from wheels to go. We spent the week connecting to the outdoors, it was perfect! In the evening we would hop in the pool before going to dinner, the pool was spotless, relaxing and never crowded. There is so much to do I can't list it all but the dolphin experience was really nice I don't recommend the expensive packages, we had a blast just watching. There are plenty of restaurants nearby our favs were sparky's landing, havana jack's and key colony inn. I do not recommend Leigh Ann's coffee house it's just a rip off go to IHOP instead. Definitely take the trip to Robbies of Islamorada, feed the tarpon and stay for lunch..Don't forget to enjoy the beach just steps from the condo and relax on one of the loungers provided.. This was just the perfect place to unwind and recharge us. Thanks Diane!"

  • Beautiful home - attentive owners

"We stayed at Tom and Christine’s home for a week in January. What a wonderful experience. Their home is situated in a great location in Key Colony Beach as it’s steps away from Inch Beach and Sunset Park. It was very convenient to either walk around the Key or hop on one of the multiple bikes they provide for your use. We found the area to be relaxing and quiet, which we appreciated. Tom and Christine have a well maintained and beautiful place. Upon entering their home, you feel at home. The layout, furnishings and amenities are topnotch. It is obvious they take great pride in their home. We enjoyed sitting out back at the tiki hut, relaxing and watching the egrets glide over the canal....such a quiet oasis. Tom and Christine - thanks for sharing your home with us. If our travels take us back to the Keys, we would love to stay at your place again."
