  • It's not on the beach, but who cares!!!

"I've been meaning to write this for the longest! Better late than never, because this review is a must! To start Charlsie is an absolute gem to talk to! She knows all the great spots in Destin, and is very upfront about the property. For the room it's self, it is not a direct beach front property. Charlsie made that very clear, and the pictures don't give you any false impressions that it is on the beach. However you can definitely see the ocean from the balcony which still makes for awesome selfies! The room is CLEAN and when i say CLEAN i mean CLEAN! I am such a germ freak, and I had no problem hanging around like I was at home. The kitchen has all the utensils you'll need to make a proper meal. Only thing, there is no pizza cutter or ice cream scope, but maybe that's just my family we love pizza and ice cream. The beach access is a short walk, but we drove because I don't care to play in traffic. But you can definitely walk maybe about a 5-7 minute walk. Overall this was great! the room the property; all of it was great! definitely booking again soon."

  • So easy and nice!

"Diane was so easy to work with! I stayed with my friends here for spring break and everything was perfect! The Palms is so nice and the shuttle was a huge help with getting to the beach. The shuttle also takes you to Harborwalk Village which was very convenient! The pool area was so fun during the day. Overall a great stay!"

  • Great babymoon that turned into a family vacation!

"This unit worked out great for my family. My husband and I had planned a babymoon, but ended up bringing our son along to make this our last quick getaway as a family of 3. The unit is well kept and looks exactly like the photos. My son loved the trundle bed and tv in the small 2nd bedroom. The view was awesome and we liked the layout of this unit. Unfortunately we did have to do a bit a cleaning in the kitchen as the dishes in the cabinets were a bit dirty. So I loaded the dishwasher with all the glasses, silverware and plates. I washed the pots and pans as I needed them, but they were also quite dirty as well. The sofa is a bit worn and uncomfortable, but may need to just replace the cushions. I didn't understand the expensive housekeeping fee. Housekeeping does not come until after you leave. We made sure to leave the place cleaner than we found it, but to pay a housekeeping fee for not even making our beds and changing our sheets is a bit excessive to me. Not sure if we will return to this unit as we would appreciate at least one housekeeping visit and not having to wash our own sheets and towels. To us, that's one of the perks of going away - not having to do laundry! The front desk agent Genevive and the valet attendant, Skip, were both outstanding. Tip - watch the furniture on the patio. One of the bottoms came off the chair and my husband had this huge "tack" stuck in his foot."

  • Great view, clean and friendly!

"Awesome view of fireworks from balcony! Clean and spacious with central location! Plus, friendly and easy to work with owner. The only reason for four stars vs five is the tv in the extra bedroom was not working so the kids were bummed, plus the wifi was not the greatest. Still would visit again! Thanks!"
