"Thanks for a great time! Condo is very spacious and was clean on arrival, we liked the corner views and balcony. Owners were great people to deal with, checked in with us after arrival and departure to make sure everything went well. Easy walk to the beach, kitchen had everything we needed, washer and dryer in the unit is a plus for us. We usually make simple meals ourselves and only went out once to Lillians pizza, that was really good. Visited the air museum, very nice. Great experience all around!"

  • Lovely property for families

"We just returned home from a long weekend at this property. The location and view are fabulous and we had a wonderful family visit. We have stayed in many condos and timeshare resorts to accommodate our needs and that of the family. We had a couple of concerns that we discussed with property management, but I thought I would leave comments here also for future guests. The coffee pot does not work and spills coffee all over the counter. This happened the first morning and we had to rig it so that we could make coffee without spilling. The unit really needs a new coffee pot. It would also be nice to have a couple of beach/pool towels for guests to use who are flying into this destination. Also, there are few amenities such as very limited amount of liquid dish soap and there were not any trash bags for the kitchen. There is also no hairdryer, so if you plan on visiting make sure you bring one with you. The grounds are kept very nice and it is easy access to the beach and pool. Our grandsons had a delightful time and there were LOTS of kids, so they had a ball. Thank you again and we look forward to another future stay at Sandy Key when we return to visit our son and family!"

  • Wonderful stay at Sandy Key Condo

"We just returned home following a week's stay at the Sandy Key Condo. What a wonderful time we had. First let me comment on the condo and arrangements themselves. FABULOUS. Owners were very easy to work with and the no problems with communications. The condo itself was very nicely appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed in terms of pots and pans and utensils (we did a fair amount of eating in, so a well stocked kitchen was handy). There were TWO sets of plates/mugs/bowls. And, plenty of cups and glassware. Appliances were plenty, including a Keurig machine. Everything in nice working order, which was a plus over other places we've stayed. Top floor view of the beach was fantastic and plenty of shade to sit on the porch while enjoying the outdoors. Three televisions (one in each BR and one in the LR) made it easy for everyone to be able to watch what they wanted, when not at the beach. Thank you for the box of take-out-menus on the kitchen counter to help us decide where to go for eating out. We ended up going to the Fisherman's Corner Restaurant twice since the food was fabulous. And, we brought take-out Bread Pudding home 3 times. (Yes, we gained a few pounds this week.) As to items outside of the condo, we brought our own shade tent and chairs, so we didn't have to pay the beach boy for rental, but he was very nice and accommodating helping us know were we could set up and chatted with us every day. The beach itself if beautiful and not crowded this week (Saturday through Saturday after Memorial Day weekend), but the stores were still open, the sun was still shining and the surf was still as fun. Having the outdoor grills were handy on the nights we gilled steaks and hamburgers, and gave us a chance to meet some other folks doing the same. Never made it to the two swimming pools, but they looked inviting. If you want to venture out and buy fresh seafood, you MUST make the 20 minute drive to Pensacola to Joe Patti's. Not only is it an experience, the selection and prices are great. We made two trips to ensure we had enough for the week and enough to put on ice to bring home. Caution: DO NOT GET LOCKED OUT OF YOUR ROOM. The condo office will charge you $25 do open your door for you. Thanks for a fabulous stay."
