  • Overall really nice stay. Just a few tweaks needed.

"This is a nicely located unit. Just one floor up keeps it out of heavy traffic, there are things to see from the balcony, and it is easy to get to and from the pool area and beach without waiting on elevators. It also comes with a pretty convenient parking space just a level up in the garage (people on higher floors climb and climb to get to their spaces). The unit was well appointed, comfortable and clean. Beds were comfy, showers worked fine. Plenty of cozy towels (bath not beach) and sheets around. Toaster was on its last leg (lever had to be held down but otherwise toasted nicely). Easy fix. TV controls were confusing and there was no channel listing but there were DVD players available on both TV's, and hey, you're here for the beach right? Another easy fix though. We had a problem our first night upon arrival. The A/C wasn't cooling. Things were looking bleak, but luckily, the owners were responsive to desperate texts, and lead us to simply re-setting an electrical breaker, which solved the problem. Once fixed, the unit felt great. Also, the owner had reportedly just begun using a new cleaning service, and there was zero toilet paper or paper towels available upon our arrival. There is plenty of nearby access to buy this stuff (Circle K, for example, literally steps away), but having zero available upon arrival was an annoyance. I hope and trust they'll get this right in the future. The property was lots of fun. Great pool and beach. Tasty poolside grill - the cheeseburger we had there was perhaps our best meal while in town. Handy store downstairs with beach stuff and coffee. Very close to some dining and conveniences."

  • Awesome View, Awesome Location, Awesome Parking, and Awesome condo

"Do not let some bad reviews at Shores keep you away, Condos are Privately owned here, The owners of this unit take pride in keeping their condo up clean, modern. I have checked out condos all across PCB by far this is my favorite. The view is amazing beautiful clear water to look at, you also get the view of the beach and pool, The pool is very pretty and large with beautiful landscaping. The main thing is location location location. Parking on same floor as your unit which means no catching an elevator it is a spot right by the door no one can park beside of you, easy to load and unload, also the room is not far from the parking garage and is in the middle of 2 sets of elevators to go down to the beach which is priceless. The unit has a nice kitchen and nice furnishings. You will not be disappointed."

  • Excellent experience from beginning to end

"This was the first time at the Shores, and after reading all of the negative reviews about the complex (not this unit) I was a bit skeptical, but rolled the dice anyways. I was glad that I did, the condo was very nice, the view was amazing, and overall the week long family trip was a big hit. Shores of Panama Info: The Shores is fairly crowded in June (as expected), and there was definitely a lot of energy in the air with people on the beach until around 11pm, music playing from the pool, lots of people with flashlights, laser pointers, etc, but while in the condo with the doors closed we were able to have quiet. The afternoon/evening staff weren't as helpful as I would have liked, but the morning staff rocked. The biggest issue was the elevators taking forever. Unit Info: The unit was located on the 6th floor with a stairwell conveniently located just out your door to the left, and came out pool side with a short poolside walk to the beach. After reading the elevator horror stories at the complex I didn't want the unit to be too high, and boy was I glad it wasn't. We had another group on the 18th floor, and they were waiting 20-30 minutes for the elevator each time, or driving up/down the parking garage. We didn't use the elevator one time, and the trek up/down the stairs wasn't bad at all. The unit came with two parking spots on the same floor, so that was nice as well. The parking garage is super tight, so anyone with a large vehicle be advised, but I managed to do it in a F250 with no issues. The owner was extremely professional, punctual, and very easy to work with. He answered all of my questions, responded to text messages, email, and by phone. I couldn't have asked for a better host to work with, thank you. Overall, we had an amazing trip with zero issues, and would be happy to do it again."
