  • Christmas on Manasota Key! Old Florida style lodging steps from the Gulf

"We stayed in an efficiency unit that had all the necessities needed for our 6 night stay. Love seat and recliner added to the comfort in the unit. Unit was very clean upon arrival and dishes/cookware were better than many places we have stayed. Nice courtyard, nice pool, boat slips right outside our door. Very short walk to the Gulf of Mexico. Pricing was very reasonable and we would definitely stay at this property again."

  • The Apartment is very bright and airy with a nice view of the bay. The back yard is very private.

"I had a wonderful experience. The apartment is very pleasant and the bedroom is roomy and comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen is small, but reasonably well supplied. The appliances are full size, so cooking a nice meal is not a problem. There was no air conditioning, but that was not an issue for me. Since the apartment is on the second floor, leaving the windows open provided a nice cooling breeze. My understanding is that air conditioning is planned to be installed. There is a washer/dryer on the ground level that was very convenient. The back yard is shady and private with mature trees, two of which were mango trees. I collected the mangoes that fell from the trees and allowed them to ripen. They were very delicious! The dock was very nice to fish from (although I didn't catch any fish from it!) or just to sit on and enjoy the water and the scenery. The dock is also useful if you have a boat to tie up at it. I did not have a power boat, but I did have a kayak, which I would keep on the lawn and slide into the water when I wanted to use it, although I could have tied it up to the dock. There is plenty of parking space in the front of the property and it is only a short walk to the Gulf beach and to the park at Stump Pass. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable."
