                    Recent Sands of Marco Reviews

                    Beautiful home

Chose this property to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with children and grand kids. House is very large, nicely appointed and well equipped. In fact it is a spectacular property. The 9 of us were very comfortable. The large infinity pool, big screen media center and pool table all saw heavy use. Sitting on the fishing dock at night was enjoyed by everyone. Nearest accessible beach is 10 blocks away , just north of the Marriott. Beach access is just across from Maple Street. There is a closer beach at the end of San Marco Rd, but it not open to weekly renters nor is the restaurant located there. Ate dinner out at the Sunset Grill near South Beach and Ario in the Marriott, both were excellent and both validate parking. Watching the sunset is the great sport here and the beach in front of the Marriott is probably the nicest on the Island. We also visited South and Tigertail beaches and while beautiful they are beset with parking issues and walking distances. Everyone loved the house. It is very elegant and you just feel kinda' special there. We apparently displaced a lot of water and needed to refill the pool when infinity feature stopped. There is nothing in the house instructions about this. Only minor issues: could only get one third of the gas grill working for a cookout and the kitchen is starting to show use. If you can afford it, you should stay here!
