  • Awesome location in downtown Darien

"Great location, we enjoyed walking everywhere. We went to Skipper's restaurant 3 times and to the new mexican restaurant Blue Bay across the street twice for happy hour. The kitchen had enough supplies for cooking at home as well. We stayed there with 10 people and our dog and there was plenty of space for all of us. We took day trips to Jekyll Island, Saint Simmons and Brunswick and all were very close. There was a mall and movie theater only about 15 minutes away, which was nice because the weather was not great. Looking forward to going back."

  • Dream Vacation!

"The beach at Sapelo has ruined me for any other beach! I think about it and our amazing host, Mr. Gibb, every day. I'm trying to plan another trip now! The accommodations were amazing, and our host, from the moment I saw him, felt like a member of my family. I love me some Mr. Gibb!!"

  • Great House; Interesting Neighbors

"We stayed at the Cottage for the annual Blessing of the Fleets. Although it is almost a mile away from the festival, we were able to find parking around the festival grounds. Our group of six loved hanging out on the wrap-around porch and there was ample space in the cottage. The kitchen was on the smaller side but all of the essentials were there. The water pressure was great too! There's only two real bedrooms. The "third" bedroom is more of a study with a fold down single bed that has a large gap in the middle due to the fold. That said, the two couches were comfortable. The neighbors were interesting. On one side, there's a cemetery; on the other side, there's a rundown-looking mobile home. Across the street is a high end gated community but you can see water through the gaps in the houses."

  • Wonderful stay for a month

"We stayed at this beautiful waterfront home for the month of March 2017. We loved the location and the house was perfect for us. We were able to enjoy the kayaks and bikes during our stay. We had a water problem one night and both the property manager and owner were very responsive, came over to assess the problem and it was fixed first thing in the morning. Being able to sit on the deck(s) and view the variety of birds was spectacular. Very peaceful location at the end of the road. We loved everything about this place and hope to return again."
