  • A Little Slice of Heaven on Earth

"Wow! This property is fabulous!!! The house has everything anyone would need to enjoy this beautiful area of the U.S. Tons of room for a large party. Yet, each floor offers a lovely, single retreat, all on their own. Plenty of seating on the decks and the view is marvelous. Beds are very comfortable and the place was immaculately clean. Plenty of TVs and the pool table and ping pong table were put to good use. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of pots, pans, appliances, dishes, glasses, etc. We held a dinner for about 22 family members and we all wanted for nothing - everyone had a seat and marveled at the house. Another bonus is dealing with Rosemary; a uniquely kind and considerate owner. You can't go wrong booking this beautiful home. Our group of 11 loved it!!!!!!!!!"

  • Perfect spot!

"We found this little hidden gem while scrambling to find a vacation spot after Hurricane Matthew had his eye set upon the vacation spot we had secured almost a year ago. Beth was fabulous to work with and we would return in a heartbeat. We had 4 adults and 2 children and it was the perfect size and had everything we needed. We had the best time and enjoyed spending time in the area. The resort itself is very nice and we enjoyed walking down to the playground at the clubhouse and exploring the area. Everywhere we visited was so laid back and not congested which is just what we wanted in our vacation. Sky Valley had started preparing for their annual Fall Festival and decorated hay bales were placed along the roads, in front of businesses and other places that just made if feel so welcoming. They do a terrific job decorating for Fall! The waterfalls on the Resort property are beautiful and a must-see. Highlands, NC is a beautiful drive on a mountainous road but very much work the turns and curves! Franklin, NC was a great little town as well and extremely easy to get to. We also visited Andy's Trout Farm which was a hit with both the adults and children!"

  • Absolutely Delightful

""Camp Carlee" is an absolutely delightful home-away-from-home. The setting is terrific. The cabin is clean and incredibly well equipped. We loved the spacious screen porch and spent lots of time there unwinding. The owners and/or property managers thought of many, many small touches to make a stay there delightful and comfortable. We did not want to leave!! We had never heard of Highlands, NC. What a jewel! We are now recommending to everyone that they visit...for the sights, the shopping (!), the restaurants...and for "Camp Carlee." God willing, we will return."
