  • Beautiful and quiet cabin !

"Beautiful and quiet cabin to enjoy nature and relax. They had lots of movies, games and books as well as an outdoor fire pit and grill. All new furnishings and the porch swing made us feel right at home. We took a quick drive down to Desoto falls and the cabin is very convenient to both Mentone and Cloudmont ski and golf resort. Definitely worth the price (or more). We will stay again!"

  • Friends getaway!

"We arrived late in the afternoon the home was glowing from the welcoming porch light and toparares at each door! The sound of spring screen doors made you remember grandma's! We had a wonderful time playing dominoes, and cards on the porch in the evenings! Game and movie selection was nice. Very clean with a lot of thoughtful touches. Kitchen nicely equipped but the grill was our favorite place to hangout! Although we didn't have any younger children as ours are grown with no grandchildren (as of yet) perfect place for them also!"

  • This cottage was outstanding in every way. The furnishings and amenities great--the view awesome.

"My wife and I decided to go to Mentone to get away for our anniversary. The online pictures of this cottage were beautiful and we thought this would be a great place. However, after viewing pictures and renting houses in years past in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge we were prepared for some disappointment. As soon as we stepped through the front door we knew this was going to be a great place. There is a lot of open space in the house but it is cozy just the same. The bedroom is gorgeous and the mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The house is decorated as though the owners live in it! Not a bunch of "cheesy" items hanging on the wall but beautiful framed pictures and nice accents. Not overdone but just plain nice. Everything we needed was in the bath and the kitchen. And nice, full-size bars of soap were appreciated. The towels, linens, and all the amenities were first class. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time there (You will have to bring your own food though). The screened back porch was our favorite "unexpected" delight. Sitting in the crisp morning air or late evening sunset and enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of tea were enjoyable each day as we took in the view across the valley. This house is located only 15-25 feet from the edge of the mountain precipice. There are no guard rails so this is not the place for a small child to wander. But it is perfect for couples. The hot tub was clean, warm, and ready to go when we arrived. It worked perfectly. This cabin is not in an out-of-the-way location either. It is only a short distance from the where the old hotel stood before it burned. That makes it ideal for going into town to one of the local eateries. What more can we say. We loved it and we are telling our friends about this cottage."
