"The cabin was very nice and very well equipped! Party of 4 adults and 2 kids, and had more than enough space. Great location, great time had by all!"

  • Perfect!

"My daughter gave us a 6 night stay here with them as a Christmas present. We were delighted by the idea, but also excited about the location. This "cabin" is the most well appointed, welcoming, cozy place. Everything you could possibly need, down to a fully equipped first aid kit, is thought of. The layout is wonderful for a group of people to be together when they want and apart for some privacy as well. One of my peeves about vacation homes is that there is so much furniture and furnishings that there is no place to put suitcases, toiletries, etc. No so here. Plenty of room to spread out and lots of closet and drawer space. Even our dog was welcome, and he loved walking outside and didn't even mind a leash. I can't say enough nice things about this place. It is comfortable without being pretentious and has every amenity you could think of. My only hesitation about recommending this home is that too many people will want to stay here and it may not be vacant for my next vacation that I will want to spend here. Well done, people, well done!"

  • Perfect Romantic Getaway!

"My husband and I spend our anniversary weekend at the Blue Cottage, and we absolutely loved it. We would love to stay again. The cottage's layout is really cool with its open floor plan, and especially its spiral stairs leading up to the loft with a swinging bed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub! The cottage's fully stocked kitchen was great for us--we made breakfast a couple of times and also fried catfish that we purchased from a local grocer in Chattanooga. The cottage is very secluded--you feel like you are nestled in the woods on top of Lookout Mountain. We had a lot of fun exploring Point Park and Rock City, which are both a short (and scenic!) drive from the cabin. We can't wait to come back to the Blue Cottage!"

  • Reunion Retreat

"My family reunion consist of 8 siblings & their spouses, which we rotate who host the reunion each year. This year my sister and I hosted. We found Heaven & was easily able to reserve the house for Labor Day weekend. The owner was very accomodating. The house had plenty of space for 16 people to move around both indoors as well as outdoors. During the day we had additional visitors to come in and spend the day with us and still had plenty of space. The children enjoyed swimming, kayaking and playing on the sliding rock. Several of the adults enjoyed hiking and walking throughout various places within Big Canoe. The house had comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and televisions. However, we would have liked to have had a bigger TV in the main living room. However, the TV in the game room was a great size. The kitchen was well stocked, as just about every meal from Friday night to Saturaday morning was cooked either indoors or outdoors utilizing the grill. We definitely will consider renting this house for future reunions."
