  • Paradise!

"Our family of five stayed in this condo for 11 days. None of us wanted to leave! Donna was wonderful to work with when arranging our stay. The condo was everything we were expecting and hoping for. The Hapuna Hotel and Mauna Kea are our favorite beaches on the entire island. We would love to stay there again!"

  • Fish house

"I celebrated my birthday with family members in this beautiful vacation one was disappointed! The setting is spectacular especially at sunsets. The Hawaiian decor and the architecture makes you drool!! Everything you would ever want is furnished for you! We were even entertained the one afternoon when it rained and 12 of us were inside at one time. The real estate company was more than helpful before, during and after our stay!!"

  • Great Place!

"This is our first time staying in this development Wai 'ula 'ula. We have stayed at other places within the Mauna Kea Resort such as the Villas at Mauna Kea but we liked this location just as well and it was much less expensive. All of the reviews are accurate. We are a family of 6 with three kids and a elderly mother-in-law. We needed a ground floor unit with no stairs inside the condo for easy access for the mother-in-law. The beds were are super comfortable and excellent quality. The view from the condo is excellent. Condo has a great layout, great kitchen, is beautifully decorated and nicely is furnished with all new high-quality furniture and appliances. The condo owner and their manager were highly responsive and happily took care of all our requests. The privacy was excellent as we did not notice anyone around us or above us. The air conditioning was quiet and worked great. All in all this condo worked out perfectly and will stay here again."

  • Luxury, views, comfort, location....

"Our family of 6 stayed in B-102 for a week in March 2017. This is a first floor condo with an amazing, unobstructed view of the ocean, sunsets, and golf course. We enjoyed having cocktails on the patio each night as the sun sunk into the ocean. There were a few days when we could actually spot the humpback whales jumping. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. It even has a nice variety of spices. There is a Wolf outdoor grill on the patio. I appreciated the small touches such as the soap, shampoo and conditioner, body cream, laundry detergent, etc. that is provided for you. There were also several boogie boards, snorkel gear including fins, a couple coolers to pack picnic lunches, and 5 beach towels. The living space is open, light, and tastefully decorated. The beds are super comfy. We also appreciated the pool area near the condo which was a 2 minute walk away. It's a lovely infinity pool with lounge chairs and pretty landscaping. There is also a hot tub and a small cool water tub. This gym/pool area at Wai’ula’ula is nicer than the pool area at the smaller and more economical Kumulani condos. (We've stayed at both.) We enjoyed having access to the Mauna Kea beach, hotel, and pool, which now requires an additional guest fee for the amenity package. (It used to be included in the vrbo rental fee but homeowners seem to be moving away from that.) The beach at Mauna Kea was our favorite and we were thrilled to swim with a manta there at night. We also enjoyed driving a few minutes south to Beach 69 where the snorkeling was quite good and the kids enjoyed the rope swings. Some members of our group drove to the botanical gardens over on the east side towards Hilo, about an hour and half drive. Others enjoyed trips to Hawi and VNP. This property was a wonderful home base to return to each afternoon. I highly recommend this beautiful place on the Big Island."
