  • AMAZING HOUSE!! We Loved, Loved, Loved It!

"We were 6 adults and 3 kids renting the home for a week. Words cannot describe the view from the west facing rooms and pool/backyard of the house to the ocean......beyond beautiful. You really cannot beat this rental. Seeing it in person is even better than the pictures. Having access to all the amenities at 2 hotels (just a short drive down the hill) plus the luxurious home itself, just simply wonderful. Easily the best Hawaiian vacation I've ever had. The property management representative was fantastic, quick responses and handled everything perfectly. Could not be happier with the rental. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Jeff"

  • Enjoyed our stay at Kumulani

"This was our first stay in the Kumulani area but we have stayed multiple times in the Hapuna area. We enjoyed our stay at condo in Kumulani and the access of the guest pass at both Hapuna Prince and the Mauna Kea Hotel. The condo was well kept and well equipped and suited our family well for our week long stay. Even though there were a few cloudy days, the condo was well lit. The pool was just a few minutes walk from the front door. We hope to return again next year."

  • Perfect location, incredible pool

"We had an incredible stay at this house over Christmas and New Year's. The layout of the house is perfect, with 3 rooms which I would basically call masters. This was great for our family which included 3 generations of couples (30 yo, 55yo, and 80 yo), no one ended up with a 'bad' room. This has definitely been a problem for us in the past, finding a house with 3 rooms which all have large beds and their own large bathoom/closet is definitely difficult. The 'Ohana' Suite was great as it afforded us a bit more privacy being disconnected from the rest of the house, but not too far at all. One story also made it really easy for our elderly guests. Another great benefit is the ability to use the facilities at the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Prince hotels (this was for an additional fee, but very modest when compared to the cost of the rest of the vacation, and definitely worth it). They are just down the road, not very walkable (distance wise is not bad but it is up a pretty steep hill) but valet is free and parking is included, so no big deal. We ate at a few of the restaurants there and they were great. The beach at both hotels was really nice and you don't have to bring anything down with you because you are provided with chairs and towels. We didn't spend too much time there though because the pool and house was so incredible. Within a relatively short drive (<15 minutes) you also have access to a number of restaurants at some of the other resorts. As long as you are eating there valet parking is free, so it is really easy. There is also a Foodland fairly close, easy for making the occasional grocery run. For the golfers, Donna is a platinum member and as a guest at one of her houses you get special rates at the Hapuna and Mauna Kea golf courses. The discount was pretty significant, making the golf a bit more affordable. If you are hesitant on the Big Island (which we were a little) I say go for it! We liked it more than our past stays in Honolulu. Not as many people, but plenty to do. We saw the volcanos, did an ATV tour, snorkeled, and relaxed. Additionally I think it one of the warmest and driest parts of any of the islands. During our stay it seemed to be raining every else, except where we were. All in all it was an incredible stay and we are ready to go back next year!"

"I cannot begin to tell you how my family and I enjoyed this town home. We were two couples, one of them with a small baby, and two singles. This house is certainly perfect for a family or friends to enjoy Mauna Kea and the surroundings. We all absolutely loved the house! The house was spacious, modern, nicely furnished and super clean! We had no hesitation for letting the baby crawl on the floors. The bathrooms were spacious, equipped with luxurious towels and shampoos/soaps etc. The amenities of the house were fantastic. The internet worked well, the sound system and tv service inside the house were of top quality. The kitchen was very well equipped and the outside barbecue very handy, as we ended up cooking most of our dinners at the house. The kitchen had a nice supply of spices and other basics and the laundry room was well stocked with laundry detergents, etc. There were supply of beach toys, balls, bogie boards, etc which we put all in use during our stay. A nice lanai outside with 6 person dining table and sitting area were in constant use! The private pool was an absolute bonus with a small hot tub, both of which we enjoyed daily. The location of the house is excellent. The location is within a few steps of the local club house with a nice small pool, hot tub and a very functional small gym. The gated community felt very safe and was very quiet throughout the day and night. Both the house and the overall property is beautifully landscaped and maintained very well. The golf carts were very useful, and we didn’t need to move our cars on days when we didn’t venture to do scuba, fishing, etc. The Hapuna and Mauna Kea beaches are both within a 10 min. walking distance or a couple minutes drive in a golf cart. Kai was super responsive and helpful with all our needs, and all the arrangements worked without a hitch. Absolutely a lovely house. One of the best vacation rentals we stayed over the past couple of years. I would recommend to my best friends without hesitation!"
