  • Great Place to stay

"This was one of the best homes away from home. Julie did everything to make us feel welcome. The condo was in a perfect place next to the pool and grills which we used for our stay. The beds where comfortable and be breeze make nights great for sleeping. I would recommended this to everyone. Thank you Julie."

  • Well equipped with great location.

"The Good: The unit has a great location. It's conveniently located on the main floor of the complex and a mere 3 minute walk to the beach and a few more minutes to many restaurants, shops and stores. It has 2 parking stalls which helps you to find one with at least one easily accessible side to your car/minivan. The unit is decorated quite nicely and has all the items one would need for an extended stay. Internet is fast and works well. Good choice of entertainment both electronic and old school board games. Are included in the unit. A full selection of beach equipment from chairs and umbrellas to coolers and boogie boards is also available. The Bad: Air conditioning is one wall mounted unit in the main room ONLY and it is somewhat buried behind the couch which really hampers the circulation of the air. All three beds are horrible. Two are very hard - although one of these had an owner supplied 3" foam topper which did help. The others did not. The third bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. It's an old tired mattress that is thin and has lost it's spring. After a night of sleeping, we requested that they purchase the foam toppers for the other two beds or at least one more - which they refused. We arrived to find only 3 of the 7 vertical blinds hung on the living room windows/patio door wall. These windows/door open to the ground level parking lot and sidewalk and people had a clear view to us. We found the broken blinds in the closet and were able to get enough up to provide the necessary privacy. These too need to be replaced with something that works properly. The Ugly: We wound up purchasing a Novafoam mattress topper for one of the beds ourselves from Costco at a cost of $139.99 which we wound up leaving it there. I did not think our request for the owner/property manager to provide us this was out of line as it would benefit them in the comfort of their future renters. I was a bit surprised they refused and sited that they could not afford the added cost as the reason. Perhaps I may not have been so critical in my review had they taken care of their guests. In summary, it is a well equipped 3 bedroom unit with a great location and is somewhat affordable. With some minor upgrades I think this unit could be a very comfortable, trouble free rental."
