  • Paradise truly, a must stay!

"Our first time at Ekahi Village, arriving very late, we were unsure of the check in procedures but were kindly reassured by the owner, Sonya. The unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. 'Homey' in the way it has been decorated with lovely vases from around the world and wall of fiction and non fiction reading, if you desire. The lanai in the back is private and is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Steps away is the 3rd pool, which is not busy, so it seems very much like a private pool to enjoy from 7am to 10pm. The property is magnificent, the landscaping, the natural fauna and flora in 35 acres, nothing neglected, everything is just perfect. I was snapping pictures all the time. This was a wonderful stay in Wailea! Other than the noisy birds that wake too early (only deterrent) we will definitely be returning back. Mahalo. Monica"

  • Awesome stay!

"Aloha! We've stayed in Ekahi Village many times and this unit is by far our favorite. The location is a 5 minute walk to Keawakapu Beach (our favorite swimming beach in Maui). The condo was super clean and thoughtfully stocked. We were skeptical of staying in a ground unit at first. The vacationers above us did let their toddler run wild early in the morning (the only negative). The major plus was the porch door entry made it easy to unload groceries and beach gear. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs are great! We typically BBQ at the main pavilion (there's a enormous charcoal grill and full kitchen) and the roller cart made that a breeze. We decided to extend our stay three nights and the owners accommodated us seamlessly. We moved upstairs to their other amazing unit. Renting both would be a great option for a larger family. We'll definitely be back next year. Mahalo!!!"

  • Excellent Home away from Home

"We loved this unit so much we didn't want to leave to go home. The owners provided an extensive how to manual for the unit along with some great suggestions for the local area. The Maui Revealed guidebook in the unit was extremely helpful and in fact we found the best place to view the crater from Mt Haleakala at the Lei Lei Lookout due to the guidebook. The beach and pool are a short walk away. We used the pull out bed which was very comfortable. We love the property and would recommend this unit in particular."

  • Ekahi 25c exceeded our expectations, providing both comfort and convenience at reasonable cost

"We had a relaxing and memorable time in Wailea. The place we rented (Ekahi 25c) exceeded our expectations, providing both comfort and convenience at reasonable cost. The beds were bigger and more comfortable than most we encounter at hotels. The place was clean when we arrived and easy to keep clean. The air conditioning and overhead fans provided welcome relief from afternoon and evening temperatures and humidity, though the weather was near-perfect most mornings near the water. There were short sprinkles some afternoons and one day (out of 8) of light rain, but we escaped potentially more serious effects from the two hurricanes which passed by a few days before our stay. The kitchen was well equipped though we could have used a more functional tool than the can and bottle openers provided to pry open or leverage screw-top jars. The fresh fruit available from the amply stocked and reasonably priced Safeway 15 minutes away was delicious. The fantastic beach and two pools (one adult, one for all) were easily walkable and lightly populated by friendly people and dogs. The two beach chairs and umbrella provided both worked fine, but a couple more of each would have been helpful. The owners provided helpful lists of restaurants, grocery stores, and other resources. We particularly enjoyed Coconuts for fish tacos and seared ahi salads and Three Chefs for Asian/Southwestern/Hawaiian dishes (both in Kihei) and Lapperts for ice cream in the Wailea shopping center. We also enjoyed dinners prepared by our son and daughter-in-law at their neighboring Ekahi place, which was larger and more up-to-date, but considerably more expensive. The large lawns nearby provided great play areas for their pre-school kids. There was some traffic noise in the morning from a neighboring street, but it was only noticeable out on the lanai--not inside. We replaced a couple bulbs, but everything else worked great. We were pleased to inherit from the previous occupants a few usable items in the refrigerator and to forward the favor to the next guests."
