  • Wow.... Everyone in the family loved it

"Just returned from a wonderful 7 night stay in the Ginger House. Our family of 5 (kids of 10, 12 and 13) loved the house and the location. Cindy was excellent to deal with - always so responsive. The house is in such a neat location being right on the beach and a couple minutes walk to Shark's Cover and Foodland. The deck is amazing and we had such amazing views during our stay including multiple rainbows and amazing sunsets. The house amenities were great and we never wanted for something that wasn't provided - even the small touches (all detergents, dryer sheets, beach chairs, bogeyboards, welcome gift etc). All instructions for entry and houseoperations were easy to find and follow. We will be coming back."

  • Great North Shore location!

"We loved this place! Kai and Heather were wonderful and really took care of everything! It is located at the end of North Shore, so far less crowded than other areas. The beach across the street is beautiful and was almost always deserted. It was perfect for snorkeling! The house was very clean and worked well for the 2 of us and our 2 teenage children. Plenty of room! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. There was an issue with the fridge not working, but it was taken care of right away with a new fridge! There is no AC, which is pretty common on the island, but with the windows and doors open and the fans blowing, it really wasn't a problem. The Kam Hwy can be a bit busy (and noisy), making getting into the parking area a little tricky at times, but really not an issue at all. In walking distance to Ted's Bakery, so that was nice! The boogie boards and bicycles were a great bonus! The area is really laid back. Great experience all the way around. We will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to the island and will surely recommend to others!"

  • Open, airy...a little piece of paradise.

"Perfect home for our family of 6. Beautiful oceanfront views! Even saw a small beach wedding during our stay. Close to the Haliewa and Turtle Bay. The house was clean and comfortable. A/C and washer and dryer were so nice! Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others."

  • Enjoyable Stay

"My wife and I spent four days at Tutu's Place in late February. The house was very comfortable for the two of us and could have easily accommodated an additional four people. We had wanted to be close to the beach and were not disappointed in the location. The lanai was great and the yard was spacious and fairly well enclosed, the yard was separated from the beach by shrubbery with only one pathway to the beach. The beach and waves were great but would be concerned that the waves were too high for unattended children; however, there were several surfers just down the beach. We walked to the grocery store and the nearby food trucks daily. There were several choices of cuisine and we were not disappointed by any of them. The house was clean and although we didn't prepare any meals there seemed to be adequate utensils in the kitchen. The furnishings were dated but comfortable. The television service was limited but the internet service was very fast. Wendy provided great service and we had no problems while we were there. We would certainly consider booking this house again if we are fortunate enough to return to Hawaii in the future."
