  • Perfect price for clean and spacious near beach

"Great location. The bike path was enjoyably breezy. Bed was great. Beautifully decorated surroundings. With three ceiling fans we never used the AC. Tim and Cathy were friendly and accommodating."

  • Beautiful place, beautiful location, beautiful island.

"Love this island every time we come back. Such a beautiful place, almost didn't go home after our holiday... We stayed for a total of 11 nights. Had up to 6 people staying in the place at one time (Wendy was very accommodating), though most of the time it was less than that. Even with 6, it still felt very roomy. Fully equipped kitchen and living room, including a coffee maker that was integral to some mornings. :) Super close to everything "downtown" Haleiwa, 10 minute walk max to most of the stores. But also not too busy since you're off the main road. There was a bit of traffic in front of the house, but nothing that bothered us (we are city folk though). Lots of great coffee places, restaurants, surf shops etc in Haleiwa. It is a bit touristy, but it's hard to escape that. You face the harbor, cool to see all the boats going in and out. And a 30 second walk to the beach, which was probably the best part. Great for surfing, lots of locals that go there, does get a bit busy when the wave's good. There's a nice park there too, picnics or sports or anything else that suits your fancy. Lots of great hikes around as well, we did several. One out by the NW airport (gliding was also really cool!), bunch around the east coast, and a bunch more down in the SE quadrant of the island. There is a bit of driving involved, but you can make a day out of the trips, just avoid rush hour times. Can also recommend Hanauma Bay for snorkeling, or even scuba if you have your own gear / rent some. After every day it was always nice coming back to this awesome house though, it did feel very much like a home away from home. Cook up some dinner or head into Haleiwa for dinner, relax around the house after a "hard" days work, and pass out in comfy beds, ready to wake up and repeat the next day. One small note though, and you get this wherever you stay on the North Shore, there's a lot of feral roosters. And they start early. Best to bring earplugs. ;)"

  • North shore turtle house review

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented the turtle beach house before and love the location on the North Shore. It had been painted since we were there last but everything else is very familiar to us. We adore the house and the location. Only a couple things to comment, The first one is an easy fix and pretty minor, the sliding Gate out front of the When is gymnastics and where? was malfunctioning and would set off an alarm when we opened the gate. Probably easy to fix but we didn't know how to fix it. I noticed the general maintenance of the yard was in decline. Many of the native trees and bushes were overgrown and not cared for. Also some of the deeper cleaning inside the rental could be more thoroughly cleaned such as bath room fixtures and shower glass etc. the corners of the room, just looked like the place could use a real good deep cleaning. I don't want our comments to overshadow how much we adore turtle beach house. Whenever we come to Hawaii it is our favorite place to stay. The property management people were helpful and they were quite on the spot getting back to us about the gate issue. Thanks for that."

  • Great Place. Second Time Staying Here

"This is our second time staying. We have two kids. Love this property for the money.. Owner lets us use the bikes and the garage which has a lot of beach stuff. Very close to the beach. Quiet/clean with driveway parking.. Nice place to BBQ outside with palm trees in the courtyard."
