  • Nice house in a great location

"Six of us (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 teenage girls) spent 5 days in this house and everyone really enjoyed it. It was comfortable, well-equipped and well located. The beach was a quick walk away and the girls used the bicycles on the bike path that ran right next to the house. A nice front porch was a good place for morning coffee. It was hot but the A/C handled it easily. TV and wi-fi were great. The location was perfect for anything on the north shore. Haleiwa was a easy drive away with some good restaurants. Wiamea Falls was a nearby attraction as well as the Dole plantation. Shark's Cove, food trucks and a grocery were very convenient. We really liked Three Tables beach. It is a protected beach with shade trees right on the sand and a coral reef for easy snorkeling, all within walking distance of the food trucks and public restrooms. After spending the first part of out trip in hectic Waikiki, this was a very quiet and relaxing, yet interesting spot."

  • Laniakea review - Sept 2016

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at a family (Ohana) gathering. The closeup turtle experience was a highlight for young and old alike. We used the brand new barbecue almost every night and stayed on the deck to watch the beautiful sunsets. Side trips to Halaewa, Kapolani, Koko crater,Diamond head,Leanords (for Malasadas) and other sights filled our days. All told we enjoyed the stay very much. Note that the beach was much eroded in September, in part due to tropical storm Lester. The new gate and stairway to the beach was nice, and when the deck and fence repairs are completed I will be able to upgrade my recommendation from 4 stars to 5 stars."

  • Perfect location

"I have been to every island and Oahu a dozen times, I never stay in hotels and have always had good luck with rentals. This is the best yet, I can't imagine staying anywhere else from here on. The bikes and snorkel gear were a plus and used daily. This is a very quiet setting and only food trucks for night life, this is Hawaii at its best. Foodland is a short walk away and a very good market. I will most certainly return. I went Hang gliding and paddle boarding, I recommend both and I'm 69."

  • Another Fantastic Stay at Sunset Beach

"We were lucky enough to get 2 entire weeks at this Sunset Beach Cottage. We stayed here 3 years ago and could not wait to get back. The location on Sunset beach provides a great home base for exploring the entire island. There are numerous restaurants and food trucks nearby along with the Foodland Grocery store. The house is perfectly comfortable and has everything a family needs to have a perfect vacation. Falling asleep to the sounds of the waves is amazing. The view from the deck cannot be surpassed. Thanks again William for sharing your slice of paradise in Hawaii. Hopefully returning for a third time soon!!"
