"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this place for 8 years now and while we love the location and view from lanai and the overall space of the condo, the unit needs some maintenance. I only say this because we have seen it get more worn each time we visit. If they would fix the items I gave the owner feedback on, then I give this pace 4 stars."

  • First Class

"Beautiful and so comfortable! Every amenity we could want for both the kitchen and the beach (including a Vitamix & panini maker!). We generally stay in the Four Seasons or Fairmont in Maui and were equally pleased with our villa here in Oahu. We loved being able to walk out the back doors and relax on the loungers or walk 10 steps to the pool. 20 to the beach! It couldn't have been more convenient. Loved eating at Roy's on the beach which was also steps away. One of our sons broke his leg just before the trip which made this ground floor unit even more convenient. It was easy for him to move around. We would definitely rent this unit again because it was like having the beach and pool in our backyard. The villas have a separate gate so even though there was a lot of action at the beach our area was still very private -- we could lay out on the patio without feeling like our privacy was compromised. One of our worries was not being able to use the hotel gym and pool (every other hotel amenity was open to us) if we didn't book through the hotel. We paid $25/day to use the gym ($85 for a week pass if you're there that long). Which we obviously more than made up for in savings using VRBO, (And had all the beach amenities -- snorkel gear, boogie boards, which also saved in rental fees. Also no resort fees or hotel parking fees.) (Numerous walking/jogging paths along the beach and through the golf course make for a free gorgeous morning walk!) While the resort pool does look fun, it was VERY crowded when we checked it out. I mean VERY. Not an available chair in sight. AND, quite a walk for hotel guests who are not in the pool wing, let alone Villa guests. You DEFINITELY wouldn't go back and forth from your condo/hotel unit to the hotel pool. Whereas the Villa pool was steps from our unit. The Villa would also be perfect for families with napping children. (And everyone else.) We also rented the studio next door and were thrilled to find out there was a connecting door to the units that we just kept propped open all day. Meeting up with Regina was super easy via text. Our plan was delayed and then we stopped for dinner and we simply kept her apprised of our plans. Never feeling like we needed to be there at a particular time -- she was more than helpful in accommodating our schedule. We arranged for their housekeeper to come the day we spent out at Polynesian Cultural Center and were very pleased to return to a spic and span (and organized) home."

  • All we expected and hoped for, and more

"We picked this property in July 2016 for a 3 generation family Christmas vacation, the first 6 days being on the Oahu north shore and the second 4 days on Kauai. We were sure that my wife, my 20 year-old daughter, my married 29-year old son, his wife, and their 16 month old would make it. We were unsure if my 23-year son would be able to join us; he was. We could see the condo was just remodeled and done very nicely when we picked it in July. We felt it would be perfect if my 23-year couldn't make it and I was willing to sleep on the cot if he did. Turned out that though my wife and I normally sleep in a king-size bed, the full size bed was very comfortable for us both in size and with only the windows open, fans on. My son and daughter were more than fine in the other full-size beds in the loft. Plenty of room. Married son, daughter, and their son found the downstairs bedroom perfect. Alexis was very responsive to our questions before we booked, after we booked, as we arrived, and while we were there; provided a pack-and-play for our grandson; had a suggestion on how to keep him from climbing the steps; etc. The appliances and bathrooms were super clean. We used the washer and dryer often. The TV was fantastic (big and lots of channels). The dishwasher worked fine every day. With the hardwood floors, no mold or smells. The proximity to the Turtle Bay Resort offerings (kayak trip, horseback riding, Starbucks coffee, spa, Roy's, walk around hotel on beach, etc.) were very nice. The whole general location was great, as my 23-year son said. The Foodland near Banzai Pipeline had everything we needed. The food trucks just north of the Foodland served everything from waffles to fresh fish: great food, reasonable price. The burger place behind the "general store" going east about 7 miles had very tasty $7 hamburgers. A few things to be aware of. The hot water may only last one shower, but the next shower was always hot. My wife and daughter-in-law said the dryer seemed to take 1 cycle cycle sometimes and 3 cycles other times. (It only took 1 cycle for me the time I used it and used the hottest setting.) Oh, we unanimously agreed we liked this place better than the 3 bedroom, 3 bath facility we got for twice the price on Kauai."

  • Well-appointed condo in prime North Shore location

"Quiet, well-appointed condo with lanai overlooking a championship golf course. Property manager was very nice and helpful. Check out the beautiful beach and excellent restaurants and a cool bar just down the street at the famous Turtle Bay Resort. Snorkel and swim with turtles in Kuilima Cove at the resort. Watch world class surfing along the North Shore. If you are looking to escape the chaos and traffic of Honolulu/Waikiki this place is the ticket! We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again!"
