  • Super clean and welcoming! Pick this condo!

"We departed the condo yesterday and had a wonderful time. My family of four stayed here, my husband and I downstairs and my two daughters, 5 & 11, upstairs. Communication from start to finish was great. The condo is EXACTLY as described, no surprises. I am super picky about rentals mostly due to cleanliness and because my husband and daughter have bad indoor allergies. This place was so clean! No dust or mold in sight. It is evident that the owner/prop manager cares about guests and really has everything figured out. The closets were well stocked with extra towels and pretty much all the beach gear you could ask for (beach chairs, coolers, snorkel masks (no fins), beach mats, umbrella & beach towels). Only one boogie board in case that matters--it did for us with two kids but luckily my parents also rented in the complex and had plenty to share. Several pool inflatables too! My kids LOVED having the loft as their own space. They shared the bed but there is a nice quality futon up there too. It did get warm up there without an a/c but the kids didn't seem bothered by it. There is a ceiling fan as well as a powerful oscillating fan. The stairs are a little steep so I was worried about my little one or my clutzy older one having an accident (mentioning in case that matters to a renter). Also, the slats of the railing and loft wall seem to be wider than new builds. Again, maybe an issue if someone planned to put toddlers up there. I gave my little one a warning about it on day one and she steered clear. The bed downstairs is a great big eastern king and was comfy. The two a/c's downstairs worked great. It was high 80s on our trip and humid so we used them every day. The patio was too hot for most of the day but was nice in the early morning. It is a bit narrow so there is only a two seater table. That might be the only downside to this condo, that our family of four couldn't eat outside--however, as said, it was hot and we enjoyed our meals inside at the lovely table. There are also two barstools at the counter which was very nice. The kitchen! So well stocked! You can eat every meal here and have every cooking utensil you need. The only thing to keep in mind is that the refridgerator is clean and spotless, so you won't find any leftover condiments...we were hoping for some ketchup and mustard :) Drying rack on patio was a lifesaver for swimwear and delicates. We would definitley stay again and highly recommend this place!"

  • Great place to stay on north shore.

"We loved our stay here. The location was perfect for exploring the north shore of O'ahu. 10 minutes to Laie in one direction and 15-20 minutes to Haleiwa in the other direction and plenty of beach options in either direction. We loved the nice swimming pool which we would go to after being at one of the many wonderful beaches nearby. The unit is on the ground floor which was nice too. Inside the unit was very nice with a nice kitchen, bathroom and living room as well as a bedroom. We liked having a fully stocked kitchen (mostly for breakfast) and plenty of space for watching TV or getting stuff done on a laptop. The Wifi was fast and reliable. It was also nice having a washer/dryer to do laundry. There is a wall unit A/C in the bedroom which helped for sleeping at night because it did get hot (we were there in mid August). But it is sort of loud when it kicks in and off during the night, so we slept better with foam ear plugs. If you leave the windows open for the breeze, just be aware that the birds in the large trees outside the bedroom will wake you up very early (another reason for the ear plugs), but what a nice way to wake up and be reminded that you're in Hawaii! Also, we appreciated that there were beach chairs, umbrella, towels and snorkeling gear in the closet to use at the beaches. That was a nice surprise. There was also an air mattress in the bedroom closet which we never used since we didn't have our kids with us on this trip, but you could easily sleep a few more in the living room between the air mattress and the couch. We loved our stay in this condo and would highly recommend it."

  • great condo

"We really enjoyed staying in this condo. We were here for two weeks and really had a wonderful time! I was a little nervous because there weren't a lot of reviews but it is just as pictured. It is simple but nice, comfortable and great location. We took advantage of some of the turtle bay offerings (spa, yoga, restaurants) and it was a great spot on the north shore. The beach at turtle bay was a good option to walk to (good snorkeling) and other great beaches are just less than 15 minutes away. Only two items that were less than awesome... 1- the bed... frame and mattress. I am picky and it wasn't horrible but just could have been better. 2- food options nearby. obviously this is out of the control of the owner, but I did wish we had some of the wonderful food choices that town has to offer. turtle bay restaurants really leave something to be desired, however the newish food trucks and sharks cove area and restaurants in haleiwa are good. I give five stars because we had a great stay... and I also feel like this is amazing value!!"
