  • Hawaiilover

"If you're looking for a posh 4 or 5 star place look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a nice, clean, quaint home right on one of the most beautiful beaches there are, this is the place for you. It is nestled very near the end of Hukilau Beach, right before Laie Point. A perfect place to find tons of sea shells. The view is spectacular. The home itself is a bit worn in places, but the decorations and furniture are nice and up to date. The appliances are more than adequate. A grocery store and several food shops are directly across the road. We will definitely stay again—not for the poshness but for the location."

  • Perfect Family Hawaiian vacation

"We visited at the beginning of December, with grandparents and kids in tow, and enjoyed a vacation to remember. The house itself exceeded our expectations. It is situated right on the gorgeous oceanfront so every window you look out is a glorious view of the water. You are lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the waves. The nearby beach Hukilau was our favorite beach on the island, it was uncrowded and we enjoyed boogie boarding without ferocious waves. We even saw several sea turtles lazily swimming out in the waves. We are so glad we chose to spend our time out of the hustle and bustle of the city. We drove down to Kailua and Hanauma Bay and the drive is beautiful and enjoyable. We also went to the Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens, highly recommend! We also ventured north to Turtle Bay beach (a monk seal crawled up to nap right in front of us!) and Haleiwa and the Dole Plantation. But it was wonderful to return each night to such a beautiful home. The owner was so pleasant to work with, so very organized and seems to have thought of everything. We used the provided boogie boards, snorkels, water shoes, sand toys and beach towels. We cooked each night in the amazing well-appointed and organized kitchen and no one minded doing the dishes with that view! We did not need the AC units or dehumidifiers while we were there, the ocean breeze kept the house the perfect temperature. The kids loved the pool and the "nook" bedroom was their favorite play area. The grocery store is a 5 min drive (you could even walk) and has everything we wanted. Rainbow Shave Ice up the road was superb. If you want a relaxing vacation with extraordinary natural beauty, close to the beach and away from the hordes, this is the place for you. We can't wait to come back someday."

  • Simple cosy studio located perfect to the Beach

"No doubts here, you have a good owner, good neighbours and a close walk like three doors to the Ke Iki Beach, Woodland and Sharks Cove. Pushbike to Pipe, Sunset or Waimea."
