"Greg, just wanted to tell you again just how much we enjoyed our stay! The condo was absolutely perfect!!! Gorgeous sunsets certainly made the wine taste better! I took many walks at oceans edge beyond the condo. All I can say, it's breathtaking!! I can not think of a more perfect location for an anniversary as well as a birthday celebration. Condo was very spacious and when our children came, we did not feel like we were crowded at all. Everything was provided in the kitchen and baths! We cleaned the deck rail as it was a "deposit" place for the many birds! Ha!! Think you could place an 'owl statue' on the deck? Anything to possibly act as a deterrent? Oahu is fascinating! We loved KoOlina - lagoons, shopping, dining and the golf cart was perfect for cruising the streets!! We dined several times at Four Seasons, rented chairs at Disney and walking around the shore. We also drove all over the island - north shore was one of my favorite places ( beaches, food truck vendors, Turtle Bay Resort and most of all, the scenery). Dole pineapple whipped ice cream is to die for!! Leonard's malasadas will certainly be missed. Pearl Harbor brought a tear and the Punchbowl was a punch in the gut. My husband talked about Vietnam and things I never knew before. Our daughter and husband hiked in a rain forest after we ate at TableTop Restaurant. They also hiked to top of Diamond Head!!!! H3 is definitely THE scenic route and one I never tired of traveling. Can't forget Waikiki, especially at night! China Mans Hat is a marvel and we were filled with awe touring the windward side. I could go on and on but I wanted you to know how impressed we were, not only with the island, but with your professionalism and attention to detail. We always were kept informed and felt completely prepared for our journey. You, our host, were responsible for that and we are grateful. If we ever return, I would want to stay at Kai Lani. Location is key! Again, thank you for THE MOST wonderful vacation!!"

  • Beautiful property and location

"THE GOOD: The location and property of this condo are amazing. The grounds are pristine and maintained daily. It would be nice if the pools stayed open till 10PM not 9PM. The condo is very spacious and lovely. The large kitchen island was perfect for food prep. The sliding doors open completely to the lanai. The furniture on the lanai was comfy. The switch controlled blinds in living space was a must for the people sleeping on the pull out sofa. Two bathrooms had amazing soaking tubs. The exercise facilities were well appointed with tons of equipment, locker rooms had sauna and steam rooms. The storage closet in our unit was loaded with beach stuff, snorkel gear, boggie boards, floaties, beach chairs. THE BAD: A few things needed a little upgrading. For a condo that sleeps 8, there should be at least 8 of everything to eat and drink. We only had 4 coffee mugs, 6 forks, steak knives...etc. The plates were very heavy and chipped. The iron for clothes had a 2 foot cord (luckily someone had an extension cord), the blender leaked, the double dishwasher did not accomodate the large plates or clean the dishes, the microwave (a pull out drawer) was very inconvenient and spilled the contents when opening, the living room furniture was old (covered with fabric and tacked down as if this was a reupholster job) and uncomfortable (very difficult for elderly people to get in/out of), the sofa bed was a disaster and did not lay flat when opened, the wicker dining room chairs were hard on the legs and no cushions THE REALLY BAD: The rules are extensive. The bbq grill area happens to be by the pool, of course there is no glass by the pool and limited dish options to carry food to the grill and what happens, one of the resorts "Aloha Ambassadors" tags us for having glass. Why don't they have a seperate grilling area like the large seating area by the front that no one uses? or at least provide a plastic platter/serving tray or two to carry items to the area. In addition 2 hours later, celebrating a wedding, a few guys went to the parking lot near the main rd to have a cigar, again caught by "AA", there were no signs for designated smoking area (nor was it indicated in the rules), which happen to be less than 50 yds away. Thinking we resolved both issue IMMEDIATELY and politely that all was good, but then rcvd an email that we will loose $100 of our deposit for 2 violations. Later tried to discuss the rational behind our actions and they had no flexibility whatsoever."

"A once in a lifetime holiday experience. Beautiful, well appointed condo. First class amenities including Egyptian linens, Gourmet kitchen, Sub Zero Fridge, Keurig coffee machine, and 3 Large Flat Screen TVs. Immaculate condition. Breathtaking views. My 6 year old and 3 year old had the time of their lives. CQ and concierge Patrick are first class. On a personal note, I made a mistake and booked an extra day that I did not use. Without hesitation CQ gave me a refund and credit for my next visit. As I said, first class with an emphasis on class. Last but certainly not least, I believe this represents one of the best values in all of Hawaii. Comparable units in neighboring Marriott, Aulani, and Four Seasons were between 50% and 300% higher in price. You simply can't go wrong! Book your dream vacation now."
