  • Great place for family vacation.

"Securing this rental was a pleasant experience ,well organized for original access and final exit. Rental space was as promised, lots of space in living area and bedrooms. Everything was clean and condo was well stocked. Use of golf cart is a nice feature to get to the beach, although small shopping area and restaurants are 10min. walk. Great snorkeling ,10 min. by car to Kahe point, enjoyed Christmas brunch at the Four Seasons,a fifteen minute walk. Pool area is a nice shared space, relatively uncrowded. I would rent this condo again."

  • Exceeds Expectations

"We have stayed at Herb's condo twice. The first was in 2015 and the second was for the month of February 2017. We booked the second trip based on the great time we had in 2015. I always thought that a return trip would be the greatest recommendation anyone could give. I could stop my review right there but the two trips were for different reasons. In 2015 my body had been retired for a month and it knew it wasn't going back to work. The brain, however, acted entirely different. It wanted to see as many things as possible because it still thought it was going back to work after we left for home. The February 2017 trip was entirely different. My body and brain were in agreement that they should have retired 45 years ago and this trip felt much more relaxed. Whether you want an on-the-go type of vacation that allows to relax when you get back to work or a laid back time doing what you want when you want this condo can accommodate your needs. The condo is situated in the Ko'olina resort area. There are major hotels, a championship golf course, Paradise Cove Luau, beaches, three residential complexes, and a small shopping area to accommodate most or your needs. Kai Lani is, in my opinion, the nicest of the three residential areas. Each building has 4 condos that are constructed very well and they lend themselves to privacy for the owners and renters. Each unit has its own parking space and a garage. We had two golf bag carriers that we kept in the garage. The garage is also equipped with beach chairs and games. Herb's unit is upstairs and very private. We could not hear voices or other noises coming from the other units. The interior is very spacious with two "en suite" bedrooms, kitchen, dining/living area and a lani with an ocean view. The kitchen is very well stocked and you should look through the pantry before your first trip to the grocery store. We have had a great time here relaxing and meeting other owners or renters. They have a "get acquainted" pool party to help you "break the ice." It is easy to become friends with the other pool goers and the pool is a great way to relax sand-free. On a scale of 1 to 10 with "10" being the best I would give this condo an "11.""

  • Perfect Fit for our Family

"Being our third visit to Oahu, (second with the kids, first time for my mom), we were looking for more space than is offered with a typical hotel property. We loved the location of this property, as it is out of the hustle and bustle of Honolulu/Waikiki but close to the amenities (grocery, gas, shopping) that we wanted and a quick escape to head towards the North Shore. We have found that on other family trips where we have stayed in hotel rooms, we have been too cramped, not offering any personal space to relax and you are always on the go because a hotel room doesn't offer you the comfort of just hanging out for a day. This property gave us exactly what we were wanting with the most amazing view and location a person could ask for. Our teenage kids LOVED not having to share a bed with each other, and three bathrooms to share between five guests was perfect and there was never any issues with having to wait on anyone. The wifi was excellent, there were never any connection issues (barring two evenings sitting on the lanai where it didn't want to respond outside), but we had constant connection within the property, which is also very important for a connected family of five. We loved the full kitchen and enjoyed breakfasts and some lunches here before we would go out and explore the island for the day or set up shop at the pools or the beach below. Surprisingly we never had one day where we couldn't find a group of beach chairs for all of us. Both pools were great and the four protected lagoons right out the back were the perfect way to enjoy the ocean without battling the big waves that were coming in on most other open beaches on this island for this time of year. The bar made excellent drinks and the overall service was excellent across the entire property. There are many restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk of the Beach Villas, so if we were not feeling up driving somewhere, we could easily walk to a variety of different places. We will definitely come back to the Beach Villas on our next visit, as it was exactly what we needed for our Hawaiian vacation!"

  • Amazing place and good times!

"This place was perfect for our family vacation. ( We had 5 adults and 2 teenagers and an infant.) Close to everything my family enjoys yet hidden away from the rest of the world! The house was well stocked and very accommodating. Where the bedrooms are located it gave each of space to be apart from each other, and yet the "living area" was big enough to have us all hanging around. The outside deck was great for morning coffee and quite moments before the day started and ended. The boogie boards were great and got used daily! I would go back here in a heart beat, such a great place, made awesome memories!"
