  • Perfect for large family.

"We came to Couer d'Aline for a reunion of my husband's family. Since our immediate family doesn't get to spend a lot of time together, I wanted a place that would house the 10 of us (including 3 small children) under one roof. I also wanted to be walking distance to the lake and at least one park. It's like we won the lottery. It also had a large, fenced yard which worked very well for the larger family get-togethers-an additional 30 or so people for dinners and games. This was so much better than going to a commercial venue: we were able to cook in the spacious kitchen (which had plenty of utensils and pots and pans, etc.) and seat everyone around the several tables on the deck and patio. And the kids had plenty of room to run around. There is a small beach a couple of blocks away and Mary kindly provided beach chairs, towels and floats. Downtown and McEuen park are within a mile. Trails on Tubb's hill are also only a couple of blocks away. Mary made sure that we had everything we needed: a pac 'n play for the 2-year old, detergent for the washer, shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms, snacks and drinks available when we arrived. She also very graciously allowed us 2 extra hours to check out. In summary, I would say that the property more than met our expectations and needs. I would definitely recommend this for a large group."

  • Beautiful home perfectly situated for an ideal family retreat

"The home is roomy, clean, and warm. It is beautifully decorated and comes with all of the amenities to make for a perfect family getaway. Books, puzzles, games, tvs are throughout plus throw blankets are everywhere! We were surprised to find that the kitchen has everything one could possibly need for cooking too. The location is an added bonus. Hiking by the lake is within walking distance from the front door as is the downtown area. We were delighted with the extra care that this owner has taken to make this a perfect vacation for our family."

  • Multigenerational Family Vacation

"We spent a week enjoying all the summer activities in CDA. With a group ranging from 6 to 65 years we found exciting adventures for all. We loved the Ash home especially the kitchen and screened in porch. The kitchen was equipped with every imaginable tool, dish, pan or appliance. Bedding and towels were luxurious. Our evenings on the porch doing puzzles and playing cards was a perfect way to end a busy day. We walked downtown for shopping, boating and jet skiing. We loved our Tour of Hiawatha bike tour which was a bit adventurous and the zip lining. Would love to make a return visit!"

  • Point Harns was on point!

"We were looking for a place to gather my married kids and their families on the water. Point Harns checked off our every wish list box. The cumfy chair next to the large window get moments of reflection and quiet solace. So from the inviting home and family space to the dock, "kiddie pool", water toys and picnic are waterside this made our family get together a complete blast and enjoyable for all whether 53 yrs old or 19 months, we all hated to leave. A great choice for a relaxing time family time at a well cared for home this is it! Kevin Wilder Puyallup, WA"
