  • Great house for a family vacation

"We had a wonderful stay at this house. Four large bedrooms (two king beds, two queen beds) made plenty of room for all 7 of us. The two sunrooms were inviting and very useable. My son needed to do some business-related work while we were on vacation, and the home office made that very easy, too. Kentucky Lake in general, and the Jonathan Creek area in which this house is located, is very laid-back and slow-paced. Don't expect the big supermarket or mega-Walmart nearby; the restaurants are pretty much all mom-and-pop type. Everything was very much as described in the listing; we did have a water supply line on the toilet rupture during our stay, and the owner had it fixed the following morning - very responsive. All in all, we were very pleased with this house and would recommend it."

  • Excellent house, great layout, beautifully decorated, very open, very clean and well maintained.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kentucky Lake. When we arrived, Mark the owner met us at the house and provided a tour of the place and answered any questions we had. He was extremely nice and very helpful. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and the layout of the house was perfect for visiting with our family. We had 3 large bedrooms and each person was able to have their own spacious bathroom. The house was just a short walking distance from the lake. If you needed you could rent a golf cart to get to the lake and around the area. The deck was well maintained and very huge. We also enjoyed the convenience of the huge garage which was joined to the house by a breezeway. No problem getting to the house from the highway or parking. Moor's Marina was just around the corner and you could easily walk to the Marina. Ralph's restaurant is located in Moor's Marina and is a great place to eat. We were able to fish off the pier provided with the house and thoroughly enjoyed our days of fishing off the pier. We even took a day trip to Nashville which was about 115 miles away and took 2 hours. We also visited Patti's 1880 settlement restaurant which did not seem that far away. Patti's is a must to visit when staying in the area. Overall we had a excellent experience and was more than pleased with the accommodations and would highly recommend this house to friends and family and hope to come back again."

  • Gilley Family

"We stayed a week at this resident. It was excellent. Very clean, has everything you need. We parked our boat at the dock and stayed on the lake most days. My husband, two grandsons, daughter, and her friend stayed and had so much fun. Catching frogs each night at dusk. Watching the sunset each evening. I cooked some dinners at the house and had everything you needed. Really enjoyed our week. Didn't want to leave."

  • Lovely home - great location!

"I would most definitely recommend renting this home - very, very nice and the kitchen was well stocked. We spent several evenings on the beautiful deck - gorgeous view of the lake! We also rented the pontoon boat and having the boat dock was most convenient. Owners were a pleasure to work with - we will definitely be coming back!"
