  • Bar Harbor at its Best

"Lindey and Tim, thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us. Waking up and going to sleep with that view was amazing. We were close to the bustle of the villages, trails with unbelievable views, and shores to take your breath away but your cottage provided a respite and oasis to regroup, and enjoy just being with family and friends. It's simplicity and quaintness were perfect for the setting and just want we needed. Please recommend to your visitors to get up early and watch the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain, explore the trails and eat breakfast at Two Cats. Enjoy!!!"

  • Perfect Getaway

"My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at Ebb Tide for 5 days after a very hectic trip to Canada. It was the perfect place to wind down. Close enough to Acadia National Park for lots of beautiful sight seeing, hiking and exploring, yet remote and secluded enough for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful coast of Maine. There also were several good restaurants very close by serving very fresh and delicious local seafood and other great choices. Watching the tide come and go, and the sunrises and sunsets from inside or out was incredibly beautiful. The house and surrounding gardens were lovely and inviting. The owners, Shelley and Larry, were great! They couldn't have been more helpful and responsive to any of our questions or needs. We highly recommend this beautiful home for a perfect getaway ."

  • Impeccable Cottage

"My husband and our two daughters (ages 3 and 5) stayed here for a week in the end of June. We wanted a quiet comfortable spot to relax and explore the Maine Coast and found exactly that. The owners' decor and attention to details for its guests - of all ages - is impeccable. Our daughters spent every morning looking for sea glass on the beach, just steps away from the cottage. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises on the deck and relaxing and reading on the cozy furniture in the evening. Brooklin, Maine is a great location for exploring the many Down East towns, it was easy to get to Bar Harbor/Acadia, Deer Isle and Blue Hill from our central location. We felt incredibly at home and comfortable in the house and look forward to returning in future years."

  • Great little Cottage

"My 2 little Yorkshire terriers and I stayed here for a week....we just got home yesterday. I have no complaints. The house was built in the 40's and has retained a lot of the charm of a cottage from that era. It is clean and comfortable and is walking distance to town by only a few blocks. Several great restaurants are within that walk to town too. Acadia National Park is less than a 10 minute drive. The free shuttles weren't running yet for the most part during my stay....they start on the 23rd of June. But once they are there's no need to even take your car out of the drive-way. My week's vacation consisted of hiking the many trails and summiting a few of the mountains of Acadia and biking the Carriage Roads. I will be making this an annual visit and will look forward to booking this house again next year.....if not sooner."
