  • Beautiful Getaway!

"We spent 3 days at John and Debby's beautiful waterfront property. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was more than we could have expected. It was brand new and very comfortable. You could feel the attention to detail in how it was built and decorated. Their yard is absolutely beautiful and meticulously manicured. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. We bought some live lobsters from a nearby co-op and brought them back and had a wonderful dinner. John and Debby were great hosts and offered tips on places to go and things to see. It was our first trip to Maine and it is absolutely beautiful. We explored Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula and hiked to the top of Schoodic Mountain. I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks John and Debby for sharing your beautiful home. We will definitely come back and stay again. Jeff and Amy"

  • Wonderful family vacation

"4 adults, 5 children ages 8 - 15 Had a wonderful time , nice , clean house with lots of character. Plenty of space in/around house for all of us. No traffic, no visible neighbors, no noise but nature. Kids enjoyed starting each morning with rock/sea glass collecting while parents enjoyed coffee on the porch. Kid biked along the dirt private roads. We were able to accomplish several day trips to both parts of Acadia national park. One day took ferry to bar harbor for "girls only" shopping trip. Although fans were provided it was difficult to find outlet plugs in areas where we wanted a fan. We did have a few days of intense Maine black flies. Once the wind shifted this was no longer an issue. Wifi and satellite tv was a huge bonus for the kids to wind down at end of day."

  • The view was spectacular! The cabin was charming, warm and cozy. Beyond our expectations!

"If you're looking for an abundance of beauty, serenity, and nature surrounding a charming treetop cabin this is the place for you! Acadia National Park called to us daily for hiking, biking and mountain climbing. Bar harbor was a 50 minute drive. We shopped, dined and took a trolley tour. John and Carol thank you for your hospitality. We will be back!!! Marcie and Danny, Dunmore, Pa."
