  • Lovely cottage in great location

"We were quite pleased with the location and cleanliness of the "Rugosa" cottage. It is minutes away from the Hull Cove visitor center of Acadia National Park and the village of Bar Harbor. The cottage was clean and well maintained. The loft proved excellent for reading and napping after a day of hiking. The two pools were also great for a late day swim especially since we had a couple of hot days."

  • Excellent stay at Folkestone Cottage

"We had a great stay at the cottage for the second year in a row. There truly is nothing to complain about. Everything was spectacular, clean and well supplied. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. Jeff and Lynn are always there to assist if need be and always want to be sure everything is just right. Thank you again!!!!"

  • Looking forward to our next visit!

"This was a wonderfully comfortable home for our family vacation. Very quiet and serene, yet close to everything in the area. I would definitely stay again on our next family visit to Bar Harbor."

  • Like staying at a friend's home.

"Date of stay, July 23 - 30, 2016. Cozy 2 story apt. suitable for the three of us. In a nice residential area, yet still close to all that goes on in the town of Bar Harbor. With Dee Dee, it was like having a personal trip advisor working to make sure our stay was enjoyable, which it definitely was. Absolutely recommend staying at Dee Dee's apartment. Everything listed online is accurate regarding location, layout, well maintained. When you go to Acadia National Park, be prepared to do some walking as once you get off the LL Bean bus, it will be a must to want to explore the coastline, and the mountains. The views are terrific. Even though we did not get to Cadillac Mountain for sunrise or sunset, the view in late morning is spectacular. Roger, Linda, & Maureen"
