  • Great location and well-kept house - was the perfect for our group!

"We absolutely loved the location - easy access to the park, Bar Harbor and also the smaller towns on the island. The house was very clean and stocked with new items - from sheets to towels as well as dishes. We throughly enjoyed the feel of the house and coming back to each night to play cards at the large dining room table. The only complaint would be that with four sets of couples, we did have to "share" a room - not fully as we each had our side of the large room, just would have been nice to have a door in between, given the layout is set up to possibly work for that. I will note for other guests - lots of bedrooms, just a few with twin beds. Lots of space for sure, just depends on your group type for how the beds will work out."

  • Great Location!

"We had a wonderful stay. The view is fantastic, with restaurants and Acadia within easy driving distance, and the rooms were clean and well stocked.. Bill and Sherri were great hosts."

  • Convenient and comfortable

"This house makes a perfect location for people visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Conveniently located in a safe neighborhood near downtown, it is an easy walk to the town square and shops as well as a couple parks. Acadia's Park Loop is less than 5 minutes away. The owner was great, quick to answer questions before and after our arrival, and quick to bring over extra blankets when we needed them for a chilly night. The house is well stocked with soft and clean linens, basic pantry items like flour and spices, and soaps for each sink as well as laundry detergent. The house is about a hundred years old with renovated bathrooms and original floors. The kitchen is basic with plenty of dishes and good quality pots and pans. There was plenty of space for our multi-generation family of 7."
