  • Great Lake Camp in Winthrop

"We stayed here 4 nights. It was a perfect central location for us to see friends and family while in town. The camp is very clean and very well supplied. We definitely look forward to staying here again the next time we are in town."

"Just spent the last 3 nights at this nice little cabin. If you like to get away from it all this is the place, it's so peaceful here. The cabin was clean and cozy. The owner sent out a nice detailed document about the who, what, when and where's of the cabin and the local area which was very helpful. The pond and the views were just beautiful. We rented a canoe to paddled around the pond and explore. It was cool this time of year and the heat worked flawlessly. Everything was as stated on VRBO and have no complaints. We loved it here, and would love to come again during the summer, but it looks booked."

  • A clean, fun place for our family with young children.

"We rented the property for a long weekend, late summer get away for our family. Gerry was a great host, greeting us personally with her husband. The cabin was clean top to bottom. We loved the swing set, water access to the lake, and all the water toys they let us use! We had meals outside and lakeside and roasted marshmallows over an open fire. It was a great visit."

  • Classic Maine Camp, Very Relaxing

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, it was exactly what I was looking for. The island was about 300 yards by canoe, about a 5-7 minute paddle. Tom, Anna's brother, picked us up my motor boat and assisted us in bringing over our stuff which was helpful. The camp was part of a boys camp which was built in 1908. This island itself is about 2.5 acres and houses the main house plus the cabin (where I stayed). The cabin sits right on the water and it a classic Maine camp with lots of character. There is a pair of loons on the lake and their calls at night just added to the charm. Tom and his mother were very welcoming and friendly. I'm planning on coming back next year."
