  • Perfect!

"My wife and I came from Germany for a 4-weeks vacation in New England - northern Maine became our favorite region and Pine Point Cabin was one of the reasons. Quiet, peaceful and near to a small but relaxed town were you find everything you need. The Cottage is well equipped, bedding is comfortable, everything perfect. We much enjoyed Baxter State Park, which is a nice 1-hour-trip away. Thank you very much for your hospitality, Ellen!"

  • Beautiful vacation home

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Dallas was great, making sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. Only thing that would have made it better is if we didn't have to leave so soon. :) Will definitely be back."

  • Enjoyment inspite of misinformation

"Firstly, the house was one of the most outfitted VRBO homes we have ever stayed and we have stayed in many. Loved the openness floor plan. The house was very clean. Brightness of the lighting was questionable but may have been adequate if the weather was brighter. Great waterfront location with assets (canoe and paddleboat) available to us. Unfortunately, it was cool and rainy and could not take advantage of it. The only issue with the reservation was the misinformation provided in the listing; specifically, the queen bed on the main level and the TV. What is not said is that the bed is a baffle-less water bed. My wife and I tried to sleep on it the first night without success. Each time one rolled over or got out, the resultant wave woke the other. To get some sleep the second night, my wife slept upstairs and I slept on the waterbed as I get up in the night to use the bathroom and didn't want to risk the stairs in the dark. Also, it lists as having a TV. That is true, however, what is not told is that there are no channels available."

  • GREAT honeymoon getaway!

"I was on the hunt for the perfect honeymoon location. My husband hasn't taken an actual vacation in over 2 years, and I was determined to find something in particular. I was looking for the home away from home. One with great local views, water sports, antiques and hopefully quad accessible. We stayed for 1 week in one of Nancy & Keith's cozy cabins, and it was even better than we had expected. The cabin was equipped with everything you could possibly need for the vaca and a great fire pit for late nights! Everyone in the area is extremely friendly and welcoming, the views were beautiful, we spent hours on the lake kayaking around the corner from our camp, met many locals, and Keith even gave us some great tips for finding local moose. We saw three! We'll be back. We're planning on the Spring, because we just can't wait to go back! Take a look at some of the great photos of our close to camp travels, and others experiences at the camp on Instagram! #sleepingbearcampground Gina & Eric"
