  • short walk to the beach...

"We stayed right at the beginning of Spring, so there was still snow on the beach!! The house is beautiful and can sleep quite a few comfortably, if needed. It is very nice, and has everything you could need (although we didn't bring a hair dryer because most hotels have them, so we could have used one of those.) Totally worth the price and would consider staying again in the future (we came from CA!)"

  • Absolutely perfect home in Maine

"My wife and I stayed here one night with some friends who were renting. It was perfect for two families with kids but could easily fit large groups. From the time you open the front door you feel like you're entering a movie set of some quintessential New England summer movie. The kitchen, great room and dining area are large and very open. The Main floor also has beautiful views of the water. Nice wide pine floors, post and beam construction and very clean (I have no idea what the people in the last review are talking about) The house sits on the water and is a stones throw to a nice area with a dock, picnic table kayaks etc. We would definitely stay again!"

  • Spacious, Quiet, and Cozy Boothbay Home Away From Home!

"Becky's apartment was perfect for our stay in Boothbay! We spent two nights and were very pleased with the spacious, comfortable accommodations. Although the above-garage unit is situated just adjacent to the main house, it is very private. The location is great - only 10 minutes or so (driving) from the shops and restaurants in Boothbay, but in a more quiet, secluded area, which we really enjoyed. Highly recommended! I would certainly stay here again if I were to return to the area! Thanks for everything, Becky!"

  • Best View on Round Pond

"From the moment you arrive at this special place on Round Pond, you realize the history that surrounds the place. This makes for a perfect place to explore the history of the region. The owners of this property have not left one stone unturned in their restoration of the Townhouse and Farmhouse. The homes are full of the most up to date amenities while still retaining the quaint architectural details of the original homes. The colors of the rooms and the owner created artwork surround the rooms with a feel of lightness and beauty. Yet the materials used felt sturdy and not too precious that you worried things might break if you used them. There were just enough touches of the past; quilts on the beds, a few antique dressers and hutches, fabulous restored wood flooring. Each home is fully equipped with every possible thing you might need. The owners went to great lengths to imagine what a person might need on their vacation and they provided it, including picnic supplies, extra beach towels, games, and kayaks. We were even greeted with flowers in a vase and chocolates in a basket! Our family rented the Townhouse first and then when more family joined us, we opened up into the Farmhouse. I wondered if we would mind going back to the Townhouse after the big group left, but we enjoyed the cozy place that began our time here. My father loved walking to the coffee shop and then onto the shop for the newspaper. Sitting across the cove at the open-air lobster restaurant with a view of the property was a wonderful way to end our trip. The other restaurant within walking distance was also a terrific option. We loved popping into the old school house and meeting the volunteer who actually attended the school as a young person. So much to see in Mid-Coast Maine. On the other hand, one day we were considering getting in the car, but the day was so beautiful and the water so serene we went out on the rocks in front of the house and just enjoyed sitting and swimming in the cove. No better place than right here! We enjoyed meeting the owner and hearing of her love of the place she spent her youth. Thank you for allowing us to share in your special place at Round Cove! Katie and John and family."
