  • Awesome house, view and location!

"We truly enjoyed our (too short) stay in Southport. The house is beautiful and very comfortable for two couples. We had everything we needed, including a large lobster pot to steam lobsters and clams which were a local bargain at Robinsons. We visited two wineries which were located an hour away, Savage Oak and Sweetgrass. We also enjoyed a day of shopping in Boothbay Harbor and Edgecomb Pottery, which had beautiful pottery! Since we were visiting during MLB playoffs, we spent some time relaxing at the house, enjoying the view and lamenting the Red Sox rapid end to a great season. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to return!"

  • Fabulous Cottage - Fabulous Location!!

"We recently returned from introducing our Daughter and her family to Maine and stayed at Stepping Stones. This cottage has large bedrooms for the size of the cottage and absolutely lovely appointments. All you need is there. It is truly a turn key property, very well kept and Location .. Location .. Location!! We hated to leave! There is no air conditioning, however it is not needed with the ocean breeze. We brought fans and never used them. Boothbay Harbor Region has lots to offer, restaurants, shops, galleries, Whale Watching, Boat trips on the harbor, Lighthouse tours and much more. The owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. I would rent here again in a heartbeat!!"

  • Absolutely perfect home in Maine

"My wife and I stayed here one night with some friends who were renting. It was perfect for two families with kids but could easily fit large groups. From the time you open the front door you feel like you're entering a movie set of some quintessential New England summer movie. The kitchen, great room and dining area are large and very open. The Main floor also has beautiful views of the water. Nice wide pine floors, post and beam construction and very clean (I have no idea what the people in the last review are talking about) The house sits on the water and is a stones throw to a nice area with a dock, picnic table kayaks etc. We would definitely stay again!"

  • Beautiful water front escape

"We had a spectacular time at the Waterfront Cape. The house has everything one would need and a short drive into the Harbor. We spent all of our time outdoors grilling on the deck, kayaking, exploring the grounds/waterfront and enjoying the campfire. Melissa was an excellent host. She was easily accessible and accommodating during our stay and gave us the inside scoop on the surrounding area . I definitely look forward to my next trip to Boothbay as the town has so much to offer."
