  • the pictures don't capture the beautiful setting and the stellar sunsets.

"The house is quiet, comfortable and elegant. It is in a remote section about 17 minutes away from anything, which suited us just fine.. The back yard overlooks a bay and bird sanctuary and offers world class sunsets. The house is well equipped and Peggy and Wayne are a cell phone away to answer any important questions, like where is the best spot to enjoy lobster outdoors when it's raining. Exploring St. George was also fun and a good way to avoid the more crowded tourist towns. Dip Net was our favorite lobster joint rain or shine."

  • Perfect Maine

"We had the perfect vacation in June. My husband and I were looking for privacy, ocean front with unobstructed views, a modern comfortable home, and the ability to bring our dog. We were able to rest and relax, then go off and explore the areas such as Port Clyde, Rockland, and Camden. We saw lots of wildlife including the seal that liked to hang out near the cottage and watched the lobster boats every day. It was truly a perfect place to vacation. The photos tell it like it is. Great stay!"

  • A wonderful cabin tucked away in a cove

"This was our first time to Maine so we weren't sure what to expect. The cabin was perfect for our stay. We like the fact that it was tucked in a quiet cove. It was exactly as described in the listing. It had everything that we needed for our trip. We really loved watching the lobster boats work every morning. This oceanfront settling is very peaceful and relaxing. Every day we ventured out to a different town/harbor. We traveled most of the Maine coastline from Bar Harbor to Kennebunkport. Each little coastal town was uniquely different. We did an all day sail trip out of Rockland on the Bufflehead. It was great to see the Maine coastline by boat. I do have to say that our favorite town was Camden. The shopping was good and great food. I must compliment Rebecca and Jeff on the wonderful cabin life magazine they put together. It told us how to operate everything in the cabin and what household supplies were provided. The out and about section was a great help on knowing where to visit and how long it would take to get there. Thanks for making our stay wonderful!"

  • Cousins at Cousin's Cove

"Cousins at Cousin’s Cove We had a party of 14 cousins stay at Cousin’s Cove (appropriately named for our family reunion) in July 2016. The house was perfect for our reunion. The house was well - equipped for cooking and relaxing. The bedrooms were ample in size and met all of our needs. One bedroom in particular- the Greenhouse room - was a bit hot. I suggest bringing an extra fan if you are hot natured and stay in this room during the summer. The rest of the rooms had adequate ventilation with the windows open. Being from Texas, I was a bit leery about the house not having AC, but I found out that I needed blankets during the night. One thing we missed when reviewing the house description was that there was not a washer or dryer. Be sure to pack enough clothes or be prepared to go to a laundry mat. (We found it.) Our family took advantage of the wonderful screened - in porch, grill, and back yard. The view from the porch and the house are spectacular. Our family loved to watch the tidal change and the moon rise on the horizon over the water. A few of the cousins went out on the two house kayaks. Be sure to watch the tides and not go out when the tide is low, for you could get caught and have to wait for high tide to return. There were life jackets to fit all sizes. Mark and Alice, the owners, graciously offered to take us on a boat ride as part of our stay. We had a fantastic time and the ride was one of the highlights of our vacation. They gave us a wonderful tour of the area, took us to the puffin colony and gave us insights that only a true native of the area could. We had an avid fisherman in our group who was not catching any fish near the house. Mark, suggested where to fish and then he had success. The cousins had a great time at Cousin’s Cove, Overall, this is a wonderful home for our group of 14. If our family returns to Maine, we would definitely stay at Cousin’s Cove."
