  • Amazing stay!

"Deb and Phil were great! They told us the places to go and what to see. We went down to The Happy Clam for drinks and the bartender told us where to find the freshest lobster! Drift Inn Beach was wonderful and dog friendly. We drove over to Marshall Point and went into Port Clyde, very cute area and amazing place to watch the sunset. We had a great time and will definitely be back!"

  • Excellent Rental Experience

"We really loved this home. This felt like a home, not a rental which is key for us. The views from all over the house and deck were spectacular--situated on a working harbor so you see fisherman coming in and out, the water glistening under the sunlight, the beautiful gardens and the intense aromas of roses everywhere. We are foodies and so this was a great kitchen for us. Well stocked with everything you need to make a great meal. The home was well furnished, clean, the linens soft and cozy. Great for a small family get together. Right next door is a place called Luke's where you can go and get a beer or glass of wine and eat lobster rolls and fried clams. Rockland is 20 minutes away, a sweet town with a great museum--Farnworth (a must see); Camden is 40 minutes, also an historic downtown w/good restaurants and shopping. The town beach is 4 miles away and a great place to hang and read a book or go looking for rocks and shells. There's also a hidden quarry which my 3 boys loved as there was various opportunities to cliff dive! Betsy was easy to work with and very responsive! Thanks so much!"

  • A Painterly Scene From Andrew Wyeth

"We rented the first week in September which gave us cooler temperatures and less tourist congested towns along Maine's mid-coast shorelines. The house is situated right on the water with spectacular views everywhere you look in a very private and secluded area. The only sounds one hears first thing in the morning are the commercial lobster boats heading out at first light and the local birds that inhabit the fields and forests. For art lovers there is the Olsen House Museum made famous by it's depiction in Andrew Wyeth's Christina's World only a few miles north of the rental house. The house owners are particularly attentive to guests and make sure everything is just right. The owner even had the piano tuned before our stay as my wife had inquired about wanting to play it. Now that's attention to detail. Lot's of interesting rooms in the house full of many generations collections over the years. The kitchen is well stocked with everything guests might need. Guests are greeted by a property manager who provides a tour of the property and all it's idiosyncrasies to ensure a safe and pleasant stay. Due to the vintage of the house the staircases are steeper than is typical and one needs to be mindful of that when using them. The rooms are plentiful and the furniture comfortable affording a relaxing and picturesque stay on one of Maine's most beautiful coastlines."
