  • We love this place!

"This is our 4th time staying at the guest cottage. During our visits, we pretty much live in the upstairs bedroom which, like the downstairs one, has 3 walls of windows facing the ocean. It doesn't get much better than this! Margaret is delightful. She loves meeting and visiting with guests. We like that Harpswell is not a fancy or touristy place. The local land trust maintains many lovely hiking trails throughout the area. We've visited Maine dozens of times, staying in many different places, but for the past several years we haven't looked any further than Harpswell and Bayberry Ledge!"

  • Beautiful house

"This was a great place for our vacation. Enough space for everyone. The only downside was the person across the street with the hot rod, turning his engine on at 5am in the morning and running for an hour and carbon monoxide was nauseating that flowed into the master bedroom. Good fishing, could use a bigger dock. Can't wait to come back."

  • Beautiful house, great spot in Maine

"We really enjoyed our stay in this house. The location was an easy drive to Freeport, Brunswick and Bath, with some beautiful trails nearby. The house and view of the water are just as lovely as the pictures. We loved being able to see the water from the kitchen, living room, one upstairs bedroom and the upstairs office nook. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities available in the house (a well-stocked kitchen, boats and life jackets, a board game library, a folder with tons of information on the local area). The house layout was great for a multi-generational family (grandparents can sleep on the first floor with a private bathroom, kids have plenty of space to play upstairs or in the basement)."
