  • Perfect fit!!

"My family and I loved are stay at this condo in ocean city. It was a prefect fit for us. Loved the location and off street parking. The very short walk to the beach. All the beds were comfy including the sleeper sofa. Loved the two baths made one for kids and one for grown ups. Every room had a tv and cable. Kitchen was nicely updated so we didn't have to spend money going out to eat all week. We'd love to go back next yr!! Thank you Gary!!"

  • Amazing week's stay!

"This was my family's first week trip to OCMD. This condo made it more special. Katy has an amazing place with tons of accommodations. This condo did not disappoint. Totally felt like a home away from home. My kids loved the rooms, views and everything else. Dolphins were out 5 out of the 7 days and were so majestic! The entire building was great, clean and accommodating. Acme was across the street to all our grocery needs. I will definitely be returning here with my family. Thank you Katy for everything your condo provides. We had a blast!!!"

  • Will be back next year!

"Stayed here with our group of adults (late 20s/early 30s) and kids (ages 1-6) over 4th of July weekend. Noise was not an issue; we could not hear our neighbors. The location was perfect (down the block from the beach) and a short walk to our destinations (restaurants, Seacrets, 48th St. Watersports)--the condo/street had ample parking for us but we didn't need to move the cars all weekend except to get more groceries. The unit was very clean and fully stocked. Of note--you have to provide your own linens/towels (stated in the description) as well as paper goods (non-issue, we just made a grocery store run). The only thing I would change (not a complaint) is that the TVs in the bedrooms were bigger than the TV in the main living area. We come to OC every year, and hopefully we can stay here again!"

  • Almost Perfect...

"I booked this stay as a long weekend away with my wife to celebrate her birthday. The price was perfect. Very reasonable for this time of year. LOCATION The Makai facility was great! Plenty of parking. Everything was clean and there were no problems with noise or nuisance. The balcony has a great view of Coastal Hwy and there is easy access to the beach. If you get up early, you can find street parking if you take a bunch of stuff with you. If you're just carrying towels and maybe chairs, it's easy to walk across Coastal Hwy to get to the beach. The other great thing about this location is that you are in walking distance to several great restaurants - On The Bay Seafood and Bellybusters are our fav's. If you want a great view of the sunset, take a walk down the alley between the Makai property and the Convention Center next door. There is a pier you can sit on to watch the sunset. THE ROOM The surf shop/tiki vibe definitely got us into beach mode. Everything was clean and neat when we arrived. As far as size, the condo is perfect for a couple who wants to get away. There is a beautiful view out of the balcony door and I loved it at night time for relaxing with a drink. The bathroom was very large and had plenty of counter space. The full kitchen was excellent. We like to take along some food with us to cut down on the cost of eating out. The living/sleeping area was nice, although we did move some of the various tables around to make it easier to navigate the space. THE "ALMOST"... I titled this review as "almost perfect" for a few reasons. I don't regret booking this place, but I do have a few notes for the owner that I would want to know if I were them. 1. The couch/bed The bed is a pull out couch with a topper. I noticed as I pulled out the bed that there were several springs missing or damaged (which I would expect with a couch bed used this frequently). The bottom line is, even with the topper, we found it very uncomfortable for our extended weekend stay. I'm not sure how many guests put the bed away each morning, but we don't. It would have been much more comfortable with an actual bed with a real mattress. At the very least, it's time for a new pull out and topper. 2. This is a small thing. When we returned from the beach, we put our towels out to dry on the balcony chairs, but then we got sand on our feet from opening the towels. A small entry mat out there would keep the sand outside. In summary - great location, great vibe."
