  • Beautiful home, fully stocked, with spectacular backdrop

"My family and I (including 4 adults and 1 18-month old) enjoyed a wonderful vacation stay at Jeff's home. The property is beautiful inside and out, with no detail left overlooked from the great artwork on the walls to the firepit and hammock in the backyard. The kitchen is fully stocked which saves time and energy and lets you focus on enjoying your vacation! This location is close to so many great Cape treasures as well so there is no lack of things to do and beautiful sights to see. The beds were very comfortable and unlike many other Cape Cod rents, linens are included. My very minor feedback is that it would be nice if the beds were already made when you get there so you could get right in as they are so inviting. I also recommend tightening the screws on the king size bed as it seems a bit creaky. Otherwise, we were thrilled with the property. Jeff did everything possible to make sure we had a wonderful and carefree vacation. Thank you!"

  • Wonderful spot

"What a wonderful location watching the boats go by all day. There is a spacious deck where we all could gather together outside for meals and another deck section set up as an outdoor living room. The area is very quiet and peace, yet not far from the center of Orleans and the local beaches. Although in truth we were so happy here, just floating on rafts off the dock, that we hardly left. The property is well kept and we, a group of artist women, all enjoyed having our own individual 'pods' for privacy. A great time was had by all and we are planning a return trip."

  • Charming Character Filled Ocean View Summer Rental

"This vacation rental was a really cool, interesting house, in a fantastic location! We had great views of the ocean from the main living area, master bedroom and all the amazing outdoor decks. The beach was a very short stroll along a private road, and it was great for any of the family to come and go so easily. After the beach, cleaning up in the outdoor shower was really nice and kept sand out of the house too. The house was clean and well maintained, and filled with character and charm, with great books, music, puzzles & art, and we loved this - especially with a rainy day in the week. Everyone was comfortable, and while the bedroom off the main living area did get a little warm, due to unusually hot sunny days and 3 walls of glass, we got the hang of the best way to cool things off & all slept well. The neighborhood was lovely, and quiet enough to hear the surf at night; a real treat adding to our enjoyment of being so close to the beach. We loved the location – close to the beach and to some of our favorite Cape eateries. We lunched at Nauset Farms & had dinner at BNI (our favorite), the Knack (great burgers) and other Orleans staples, such as Land Ho, plus amazing breakfasts at Hole in One. We visited other nearby towns and beaches, and we really had a great, relaxing vacation. We were so pleased that Kent allowed us to bring our low impact dog, and she was clearly very comfortable and at home. Kent was very efficient and responsive, plus helpful and patient with all my many questions, also providing a linen service for us that worked well - one less thing to pack! I would love to rent this house again in summer or any season; this house would be a great place to be any time of year. I would recommend this house to anyone!"

  • This house is Fabulous!

"I've been renting on the Cape on and off for the last 55 years. That's a lot of houses. This house is unquestionably the most comfortable, the most completely furnished, the most beautifully decorated and the one we would most like to return to. The house looks exactly like the photos. You could fit 3 King beds into the master bedroom. There is a walk-in closet large enough for a season's clothes. The bathroom has a jet tub in addition to a large shower. The upper floor has, in addition to the 2 twin bedrooms and baths, a sitting area and TV. We used it as a snug sleeping area for our 4 year old grandchild. There is enough space that people need not be on top of one another. Dining room, kitchen, study, family room, sun-room, deck and basement. You want to be alone? You can do that. You want to have a party for 2 dozen? There is sufficient tableware, cookware and glassware to do so. The house is located in a corner of Brewster that is adjacent to West Harwich and Chatham. The bike trail has an entrance nearby. There are ponds, lakes, ocean beaches all within a short drive. Our grandchildren played ping-pong in the basement and croquet in the back yard. They played whiffle-ball in front. They could ride their bikes in the driveway and on the quiet street. I've enjoyed sunsets in Tahiti, over the Grand Canyon, and on the roof of the Del Coronado, but one of the most peaceful was on the deck of this house. Go and enjoy."
