  • Quiet setting and convenient to Outer Cape activities

"Liz's property was wonderfully relaxing, and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking for the five of us. Having a washer and dryer, plus the dishwasher, were great for our week-long stay. The house is convenient to the action of Provincetown, yet in a nice and quiet setting. The upper deck, as noted by others, provides a spectacular view of the Milky Way and Provincetown harbor. Liz is one of the most responsive house owners we've encountered in our years of renting, and we would heartily recommend this house to others, and hope to return ourselves."

  • Very clean, comfortable property

"We have rented a house on Cape Cod for 16 years now, and this is one of the very few we would return to without hesitation. Our most important criterion for rental is a house that is immaculately clean, and this one is, without a doubt. In addition, it is roomy and comfortable, and has everything you need for a longer-term rental of a few weeks, especially in the kitchen. It is conveniently located, close to Provincetown and the small Truro shopping centers, and to Corn Hill Beach and the ocean beaches, especially Head of the Meadow. The master bedroom is a delight, bright and sunny, and has a great view towards the bay. The house has plenty of windows on every side and French doors, and there is always a lovely breeze floating through. I had my first cup of coffee every morning on the large, sunny deck, where I could watch the birds in the tree tops, and the large flock of turkeys in the yard, which didn't pay any attention to me at all. The owner is very easy to work with, and prompt to answer any questions or to deal with any issues that might arise. Overall, a terrific vacation rental."

  • Lovely, lovely location and beautiful condo

"We just returned from a week at this condo. Jim was wonderful to work with, very responsive to every email, but we didn't need anything. The condo is much nicer inside than where we usually stay -- all those stainless steel appliances and a double vanity in the bathroom... very nice. I am lazy and don't want to have to walk to the beach and this condo is situated right on the beach with a lovely patch of sea grass and beach plum bushes that give you a little privacy while having the beach almost at your toes. We had a really great week and couldn't have asked for more. The location is very convenient to Provincetown and there is a shuttle stop right outside your door if you don't want to drive in."

  • Cozy Cottage in a Great Location

"I thoroughly enjoyed my three week stay in this quaint and cozy beachside condo. There is more than enough room inside for a couple to stay comfortably with a great little deck off the back equipped with a small table and chairs and a view of the water. A front porch area provides additional outdoor space that is nicely shaded in the afternoon. The kitchen has all the essentials including a small full size fridge and apartment size stove. Even though this unit is in the building closest to the road, it is set up on a hill so it is quite quiet and always catches the breezes off the water. Located in a small complex of buildings, Unit #2 is a quintessential Cape Cod beach cottage. Comfortable and homey, there is a quiet and uncrowded beach a very short walk down the stairs from your front door. The beach is for the use of this and the neighboring complex residents and guests only. We repeatedly left our chairs, umbrella and towels while going back to the cottage for lunch and they were safe and sound when we returned. Both residents and guests here are friendly without being intrusive. This particular area of the cape is where you will find a great number of artists and galleries as well as a number of fabulous restaurants. Provincetown is a little over 5 miles away in one direction and Wellfleet about 12 miles in the other. The local bus stops right out front on the main road and takes you to the middle of Provincetown for far less than the cost of parking your car for the day. It runs from early morning to midnight daily. You can also transfer to the beach shuttle to get to Provincetown Race Point as well as other beaches there. The little town of Wellfleet is about a 20 minute drive in the other direction and has both an indoor cinema and the Capes' only drive-in theatre! The only reason I gave a 4 star review instead of 5 is because I found the bed to be a little uncomfortable for a longer stay. By day 9 I was feeling a bit stiff in the morning. In addition, a little better vacuuming under and behind furniture and more attention to the cleanliness of stovetop and oven would have been nice. A mattress upgrade and these attention to details would make these accommodations a full 5-Star in my book."
