  • Cape Cod Charm and Character

"Summers on the Cape were a part of my childhood and though I wanted to introduce it to my own children- now grown and off on their own- I was worried about finding a place that exuded the old Cape that I remembered. The wild areas, the dunes, the hikes, the old towns the vernacular architecture... But this house. This sweet house- gave it all back to me and more. Converging from the west coast, the Rockies, the Chesapeake Bay and the land of Liberty, our group of 8 had more than enough room to sneak away with a good book or converge for charades and shenanigans. Large decks shaded by beautiful white oaks overlooked a river valley. Wild turkey (the feathered kind) were prevalent on the local trails. The location gave us ample opportunity to easily explore Provincetown and wellfleet and other sections of the National Seashore. We rented bikes and explored further than our feet would take us. Access via the fast ferry from Logan was part of the fun. And the car rental at Provincetown was a snap. We barely made a dent in our list of things to explore and so we look forward to coming back again soon!"

  • Perfect get away on the Outer Cape

"The house is amazing, relaxed feel yet all the comforts you need. We loved the the house's character/bones. The property was clean and comfortable. Owner returned my questions right away. I'd recommend this to house to those that love the Cape, it's a true reflection of the Outer Cape. It was close to the beaches we love & to night life."

  • Great Family House

"Our family has been coming to Truro for almost 20 years, and this is the first time that we have rented Liz's house. It has been a great experience. The house is charming and comfortable, and Liz has provided virtually everything we need for the beach, for cooking and for hanging out. The historic house is really well maintained with lovely decor and comfortable furniture. There are two living rooms, which allowed us to spend time on our own without interfering with one another when we wanted space. I have stayed in antique houses that are charming but musty. Nothing musty here. It is light and open throughout. Access to the beaches is easy, and it is a very short walk into Truro Center. The grocery store there is small and not cheap, but it has very nice products to offer. I highly recommend this house, and I fully intend to rent here again."

  • Great house in a wonderfu location

"We love Truro and have rented many houses over the years and this was one of the best. My husband and I an our son and daughter-in-law just returned from a week at this house and it worked perfectly for our needs. There is plenty of room to spread out. The house is secluded and surprisingly quiet since it is near Rte 6. It was an easy walk to Jams grocery store for coffee every morning ( if you don't mind playing Frogger crossing Rte 6). The house was clean and well-equipped and I could see how families with young kids could make good use of all of the extra beds. The owners were very easy to deal with and answered questions rapidly. There are fans there, but we brought extras which came in handy on hot nights. We hope to come back next summer."
