  • Classic Outer Cape, a magical place.

"My in laws and my brother in law's family were extremely comfortable here with two little ones (4 and 6 mo) in tow as they visited my husband and me from far away. Our only regret was that we did not stay longer. The house is clearly the work of many years of rest and fun on the cape. Beautiful, artistic touches in the design and furnishings and a simple back in time experience (this is not the place for those who don't appreciate "simple" or "back in time"- fortunately we all very much do!). The breezes flow rapidly through the living areas, making you feel integrated with the woods outside. The porch is huge and the view beautiful. People can spread out and disappear or join each other in the cheerful living room. Great books on Cape Cod lore to browse and a thoughtful introduction in the house folder. This home was exactly was we hoped for- more actually. It gave a sense of being tucked away from the hustle and bustle in the quiet nature and artistic communion of the Outer Cape. A gorgeous beach is down the road, and plenty of good food (fish markets, drives to PB Boulangerie, the Bookstore, Napi's). Provincetown is close enough to be very convenient as well. What a special place. We were all sad to leave- perhaps four year old Millie being saddest. After whale watching and listening to whale songs, beach and romping on the fun orange pillow-chair, and eating ice cream in bustling Provincetown, she wasn't at all ready to head back to Texas. Thank you for sharing your cherished family home with us for the weekend. We felt like it was ours too- what a treat. Tip- bring a travel crib or pack n play for small babies. We were glad we did. And check pollen levels when planning your stay- the entire Cape was abloom! Although we didn't care one bit. I highly recommend this place as long as you don't nudge me out of a chance to stay again!"

  • Wonderful and relaxing week on the Cape

"After travelling around in New England for almost 2 weeks, we (family of four with two kids aged 15 and 13 from Germany) greatly enjoyed our stay on the Cape in this wonderful house. It was everything we expected and we found everything just as charming as described and shown on the pictures. The owners were very helpful and super nice - easy in handling everything upfront and during the stay and recommending great places to go. We loved the farmer´s market in walking distance and since it was a very hot week enjoyed bathing in the Ponds nearby (especially the Sheeps Pond) a lot. The house was very clean and the big back yard a great place to relax after returning from trips during the day. The kitchen was fully stocked with everyting we needed and it was also very good to have the washing machine and dryer. We would come back again and definitely recommend this property!"
