  • This was a very quiet, peaceful and beautiful area. The beach was so close and the water inviting.

"The cottage was small but uses all of its space well. You have everything you need to make your meals and sit and relax. Lots to do in town or just a short drive to other towns. If you need to get away and relax and enjoy nature at the Cape, this is where you should visit!"

  • A lovely, spacious beach cottage

"Wayside Cottage has high ceilings, airy rooms, surprisingly large bedrooms. It is an authentic old beach house, well cared for. The bay beach is right outside and the breeze is steady. The outdoor shower is great. The kitchen and dining room work really well. We really enjoyed our stay. There is only one toilet, and it is upstairs, so be prepared for that minor inconvenience - but there is also a washer and dryer! The one complaint my family had is that, because the cottage is right on Beach Road, there was a fair amount of traffic noise, including the occasional large truck or bus that was quite loud. Luisa was a very gracious and lovely host, living right down the road, and she responded immediately to our queries and requests. Thank you, Luisa!"

  • Charming Tree House Studio!

"Spent a lovely week at Linnet's Tree House in N. Truro at the end of August. Needed a break from the city and wanted to get some writing done, and the Tree House was perfect for both. Personal touches abounded in the studio: brightly colored vases balanced on overhead beams, a small bowl of sea glass adorned the bathroom, three skylights allowed the light to filter in.The view from my back window took in a towering weeping willow and lush vegetation. In addition, I also had access to an exquisite garden just off to the side of the studio. Linnet seemed to have thought of everything: the small but efficient kitchen was stocked with all the utensils one might need and more. I can't wait to recommend her property to any of my friends planning a trip to the Cape and hope I'll be able to make it back as well!"

  • Our place was very clean, well supplied with accessory basics. Cozy, clean, welcoming. Very nice.

"The deck areas are very clean, with setting and tables. Nice to be able to borrow beach chairs. The news structure of the deck with easy access and safe. Our friends were jealous. Being able to see the water and watch sunsets on the deck was great. Thank you."
