  • This House is the Envy of All Those Who Pass By

"We had such a great experience at this charming house...felt so much like a true home. We rented for the week and had two friends who came for portions of the week and all of us were so content with the house and the beautiful side yard...we made great use of the space. It's the perfect setting for a true Provincetown experience. We loved all the foot traffic as people would often ask about the house and its history. We were there in August and the window units in the bedroom made the house comfortable and great to have open windows in the living room and dining room. The rooms are charming and the setting really does add to the vacation experience. It's great to have a kitchen with lots of the utensils, service ware and cooking tools as it was fun for us to cook occasionally during the week stay. We also used the bikes and that was an extra-plus for renting here. We'll definitely be back."

  • Excellent!

"We have been renting this property since 2011 for our annual 2-week vacation in Cape Cod and have become addicted to its comforts and facilities. We have found it highly user-friendly. It is about a mile from the nearest beach, which is what we prefer to any house right on the beach. The Cornfield, where the Blue Door is located, is a quiet lane off Route 28 and the town center is a short drive away or a pleasant mile-long walk which we often take. A seafood store is a 3-minute walk from the cottage. Our children and grandchildren love the place and its surroundings with its spacious patches of green at the back and front. We have not met the owner personally but have always found her to be most gracious and helpful when contacted through email or phone, (unlike the somewhat indifferent owner of another place we had rented in 2015 when the Blue Door had not been available). We hope to rent the Blue Door many times in the years to come."

  • Delightful cottage with everything you need; perfect location

"This property is centrally located to the downtown part of Chatham, and had everything we needed for our stay with a 14-month old toddler. The cottage is small, but equipped with all the necessities. Very comfortable and charming. Having the shed complete with wagon and beach accessories to include chairs, umbrella, toys, was icing on the cake."

  • Very clean, near our favorite beaches, beds comfortable

"This house was in the perfect location for our family. It was super clean when we arrived. We had plenty of room for our family of 5, with three teenaged kids (actually didn't even use one of the bedrooms). We havent rented a house on the Cape in awhile so we were thrilled to have three showers and a kitchen and living room to spread out. Outside shower was great. Location was key as we go to Beachcomber and Whitecrest as well as utilize the bike path, which is 1.5 miles away. The owner was extremely communicative and responsive. Beds were very comfortable. No A/C but ceiling fans in each bedroom kept us plenty cool."
