  • Lovely Stay

"We rented this cottage for two weeks in July and loved it. The location couldn't be beat (3/4 minutes walk to Craigville Beach and the view from the rooftop deck and back deck were awesome. The wildlife seen from the back deck was really great and we looked forward to watching the cranes, ospreys, etc. The sunroom was our favorite part of the cottage. The owners were easy to deal with and most accommodating. The basket of 'goodies' was a very nice touch and the cottage was very clean and quite homey. We loved everything about the place and we had a wonderful vacation stay. Thanks again for everything!!!!!!"

  • Cozy and quiet for a relaxing vacation!

"We stayed for a week to attend our nephew's wedding in Orleans. The cabin was perfect! Very neat and clean, quiet surroundings, and lovely view of sailboats on Arey's Pond. There were 4 of us for the entire week, with 2 more coming later in the week. Plenty of bedrooms and eating areas! We all loved the rustic atmosphere and being surrounded by trees. In addition, it was close to our other relatives and easy to drive to Hyannis and Provincetown. Highly recommend for a family or couple who want to visit Cape Cod and environs. Very responsive and welcoming owners, too!"

  • A simple cottage in shade of pines, firs and oaks.

"We have enjoyed our stay at this property. The beautiful wooded, private yard is quiet, cool and relaxing. Our two grandchildren, 4 and 6 years old, liked to watch the wild turkeys, play hide and seek, and build "animal traps" and "hiding places" out of dry branches. We slept on the enclosed porch, falling asleep to the rustle of the trees and waking up to the sounds of birds. We've been vacationing at Cape Cod for the past 5 years, every year staying at a different place. The local beaches didn't impress us. We found the beach on John's lake (Back Road, Mashpee) more suitable for small children. The beach wasn't crowded, had clean water, sand, was surrounded by trees, had a new playground, a covered picnic area and rest rooms ($15 for non residents). The children improved their swimming skills!"

  • Very comfortable beach house, in a good location

"Our family of eight (grandparents, parents, and grandchildren ages 15 and 11), stayed at this house for one week and enjoyed every minute. The house is well equipped with everything you need, including beach towels, bicycles, kayaks, BBQ grills, plates, glasses, and cooking utensils. We ate most of our meals at home and outside, and used the kayaks every day. The living and dining areas of the house are large and spacious with comfy chairs and couches and two very large TVs. The waterfront backyard has at least six chaise lounges with cushions and a dining table that easily accommodates 8 adults. There is a selection of children's games and videos to keep younger children entertained. Our 11 year old loved the kayaks. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay on the Cape, you will not be disappointed."
