  • Fantastic time!!

"Beautiful all around! Stayed here with husband and 3 kids. Perfect location. Huge plus was the short walk to beach. Cottage is well maintained, and so peaceful. Highly recommend to everyone."

  • We really didn't want to leave!

"We've rented numerous homes on the Cape and this was by far our favorite! My family--2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog--stayed here in August 2015. The house was beautiful, spacious, immaculate and the perfect getaway from the Boston 'burbs. The landscaping was beautiful--a welcome surprise when we arrived. The decor was fun, tasteful and interesting, creating just the right atmosphere for a relaxing week. The beautiful new kitchen was well-stocked. The living area was sunny with a beautiful view. We ate all our dinners on the deck off the dining area, and enjoyed many cups of coffee in the lounge chairs on the outer deck. When the weather was a little damp, we took advantage of the games and puzzles that were in ample supply. My son loved having the entire downstairs "suite" to himself and the grown-ups loved that each child had his/her own bathroom separate from ours. The kids had a blast discovering Ballston, Longnook and Cornhill beaches. (We'd previously gone to the bigger beaches, but these were far less crowded and, I would argue, nicer.) And we took full advantage of local offerings--restaurants, Truro Farmer's Market, Payomet Performance Center, Oliver's Red Clay Tennis Courts, Provincetown and Cape Cod Rail Trail. Just a wonderful way to spend a summer week."

  • Cape Cod Charm and Character

"Summers on the Cape were a part of my childhood and though I wanted to introduce it to my own children- now grown and off on their own- I was worried about finding a place that exuded the old Cape that I remembered. The wild areas, the dunes, the hikes, the old towns the vernacular architecture... But this house. This sweet house- gave it all back to me and more. Converging from the west coast, the Rockies, the Chesapeake Bay and the land of Liberty, our group of 8 had more than enough room to sneak away with a good book or converge for charades and shenanigans. Large decks shaded by beautiful white oaks overlooked a river valley. Wild turkey (the feathered kind) were prevalent on the local trails. The location gave us ample opportunity to easily explore Provincetown and wellfleet and other sections of the National Seashore. We rented bikes and explored further than our feet would take us. Access via the fast ferry from Logan was part of the fun. And the car rental at Provincetown was a snap. We barely made a dent in our list of things to explore and so we look forward to coming back again soon!"

  • Wonderful place for family and friends to stay...

"We stayed at this house for 9 days and wished we were able to have better weather since there is so much to do there....swimming off dock, kayaks to take out, great firepit for nightly gathering, and much more. We were only 2 people but the house is very large and many more are able to stay there. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the owners were available and ready to assist if needed, very nice people. So if anyone is looking for a place with water and trees and peaceful surroundings, this is it! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did and more!"
