  • Terrific Location - Beautiful House!

"This rental is absolutely delightful - we enjoyed every minute of our stay. It's steps away from the beach! The interior has been very well kept - you will feel right at home in this peaceful & classy cottage. Comfortably sleeps 4. Owners are so nice and very well respected on Plum Island! Bonus - this must be one of the biggest yards on plum island - our 2 kids thoroughly enjoy running in the fully fenced in yard!! And the neighborhood is perfect for biking. Hope you get a chance to enjoy this wonderful rental and all that Plum Island has to offer!!"

  • Wonderful modern cottage by the beach!

"This was a perfect getaway! The cottage was new, fully equipped, and tastefully decorated. The location couldn't have been more perfect. Steps to the beach and an easy drive to Newburyport for dinner or shopping. Although the cottage was one among six, it was private and the other residents were friendly. I can't wait to return!"

  • A cozy cottage with a beautiful view!

"We enjoyed perfect weather for our stay over labor day weekend at this cottage. The house is surprisingly roomy and comfortable for its small size. We loved the decor, too. The owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. It was a pleasure to rent from them. We had four adults and one baby staying there, and we never felt like the space was too small. In fact, the kitchen and living room seemed larger in person than they had in the pictures on this site. The house has an excellent view of the water, with lovely sunsets. It's a long walk down the stairs to the water, though, and the water at the house isn't really good for swimming. It's grassy and extremely shallow at low tide (you'll see lots of people out clamming). But it's a perfect spot for kayaking, and our group went out in the kayaks provided many times. We did have some trouble finding the kayak paddles at first -- access to the cellar is through the island in the kitchen. The top of the table lifts up and latches to reveal stairs down to the cellar. A genius design for a small house! The beds are very comfortable. Fans throughout the house provide plenty of fresh air. There's no bathtub, just a very small shower, but that was fine for us. The hosts were very nice to provide a high chair for our baby. There were also a few small toys that he could play with. All in all, we were extremely happy with the house and will recommend it to friends and family!"
