  • Perfect location with amazing views!

"The cottage exceeded our expectations! It was everything the owner's promised and so much more! The water was crystal clear and the sunset was stunning! The woods outside the cottage was a fun place to explore and the dunes was a great hike to take so we could enjoy the view as well as a really cool sunset! My youngest son spent hours catching and releasing wildlife (various bugs, frogs, dragon flies, and grasshoppers). My husband enjoyed relaxing on deck while watching a bald eagle fly overhead and my oldest son saw he first shooting star! So many unforgettable memories made! Our first couple days there was little wind so the water was calm with no waves which was great...but then the wind came...and so did wave jumping and kite flying which we all loved! The family time was great, getting used to no cell service for 7 days was hard but we loved it! The traditions seen throughout the cottage such as rock painting was unique and fun! We added our own to the collection! Thank you for opening your home up to us! It was a wonderful 5 star experience! The Crouch's"

  • A great place to stay at Boyne

"My family (two adults and four kids) stayed here for a ski weekend in late February 2016. It was clean, comfortable, and super-convenient. Dave & Karen were easy to deal with, and very accommodating when we had to reschedule at the last minute (which was much appreciated!). Being able to walk out the back and ski down to the lifts was a real plus. Thanks!"

  • Relaxing & Cozy Winter Getaway with a View

"We enjoyed a lovely 3-day winter getaway at the Eagles' Wings Lodge. Arriving on a cold, snowy day were happy to see the parking was plentiful and level with the road. Upon entering the home, we were greeted by a spacious entry and gorgeous rustic detailing from floor to ceiling. The large, open floor plan is ideal for a vacation because whether cooking, watching tv, reading, or playing a game, it is nice to have the family congregate in one main area. Conveniently located to the left of the entryway is a 1/2 bathroom/closeted laundry. To the right is a den area, and across the way is the master bedroom suite with its own full bathroom, that can be closed off via a pocket door or left open for use as a 2nd main floor bathroom. The hot tub is on the deck just off the back of the home and overlooks a natural area that stretches back as far as the eye can see. It's quite a view, especially covered in a blanket of snow. One side note, my mother was with us and she is recovering from hip surgery. The layout of this property is ideal for her because we gave her the master bedroom and she was able to move about without worrying about any stairs. Everything she needed is on the main floor. The staircase winds up to an open sitting area on the second-floor. Off of this space are three bedrooms and another full-size bathroom. Also, off of this space is the Americana suite, boasting three queen-size beds and its own full bathroom. Just off the center of the sitting area is a log ladder providing a gentle incline to the sleeping loft. The sleeping loft is super cool. We didn't have kids with us but checked it out nonetheless. It's like a treehouse nest and feels super fun. The furnishings and decor are primarily themed rustic lodge, think Montana, and are in gently used condition. A lot of thought has been put into making sure guests are comfortable including a plentiful supply of blankets and other comfort conveniences. Crystal is very kind to deal with and truly accommodating. We enjoyed walks on the beach and seeing stunning water formations that were frozen in suspended animation. We also took long walks in the forest just across the street. I know summer is peak season for Michigan's coastline, but our winter weekend was truly a relaxing and special time."

  • Fantastic vacation!

"So clean and neat along with QUIET! We loved the accommodations and the fact that we were able to rent their pontoon boat for the day. Owners were fantastic with making sure we had everything. Had a great, relaxing trip with lots of hiking!"
