This comfy and stylish cabin features wood cathedral ceiling and spa bathroom sustainably sourced from Manistee forest, handcrafted wood furniture from a local artist. Outdoor areas have two decks and a fire pit. Amenities include organic cotton linens, Turkish towels and good coffee. Lake George is a charming lake community with lake and beach access. Cute towns nearby for shopping, festivals and dining. A great spot to recharge and have fun! Enjoy nearby Shingle lake public beach access for a day at the lake. The Lake George boat launch is conveniently located around the corner.
This cabin is fully renovated, everything from the furniture, luxury foam beds, dishes and cookware are new. There are 2 outdoor decks with seating. Enjoy your morning coffee or a cold beverage! We have a firepit to light an “up north “ bonfire”. There is a privacy fence at the rear of the property so you feel like you have your privacy. There are 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen with a gas range. The cathedral ceiling can be viewed from every room and makes this cozy space feel airy.

We had a wonderful vacation here. Owner was very responsive and helpful with what to do in the area. Very comfortable little cabin!

Very cute cabin, clean, fresh and up to date. Linens towels all had fresh scents. Everything was great!

This clean, cozy cabin is exactly as described and pictured. Very nice and comfortable. Host is very good at communicating and answering questions that might arise. Would love to stay again if opportunity presents.

Golf outing

Cute, comfy little cottage exactly as described. Very clean. Had great communication with the owner, she was informative and always quick to respond.

Clean house, manager responded quickly and solved problems quickly. The house had no closet or oven range, I failed to look closely what was in house, only seen that it had a stove and A/C unit, also front windows at night with lights on in house you can see from outside into house very easily.will make sure to look closer for amenities. Overall for price and location was very satisfactory.

Hi! Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. This is a simple cabin and is not a cottage as is include included in the description. It does have a five burner range, but it does not have a stove for baking, nor is that listed as an amenity. and if you’d inquired, I would’ve been very happy to answer any questions! Like most cabins, it does not have central air, and I would’ve been happy to answer that question as well.

I will remember this cabin as part of the overall experience of being in this part of Michigan for the first time. It's just beautiful out there. The cabin fit perfectly into being in the countryside. It makes good use of very little space. Everything we needed was on hand. We bought groceries on the way in Mt. Pleasant and found that Dollar General, which is practically across the street from the cabin, was good for things we forgot. We were there for a wedding about 10 minutes from the cabin, but if we were there for a longer vacation-type time, we would have found the cabin to be great with its outside seating and firepit and barbeque. We loved it.

Thank you for hosting us and for the thoughtful welcome — we really appreciated the Amish chocolate gift, it was a very nice touch.Overall, the cabin is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The kitchen in particular had everything we needed with a great selection of utensils and cookware, which made it easy to prepare meals during our stay. We also really enjoyed the outdoor amenities — the grill, fire ring, and two decks were excellent features and made it very pleasant to spend time outside.At the same time, we want to share a few honest observations for future guests. The property is less secluded than we expected to, and in reality it is located within a small village, so it feels more “neighborhood-based” than private or remote. The bedrooms also are not acoustically separated.In terms of location, we found the nearby beach to be quite small, and in our case we were not able to find any particularly strong beach options within a 30-mile radius, which was a bit different from what we were expecting based on the description of lake access and nearby recreation.Despite these points, we still had a very enjoyable stay overall. The cabin itself is charming, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed, and we would rate it 9 out of 10.Thank you again for having us.
