  • House was better than the pics.

"House was great for our family. Lots of entertainment for the kids and walking distance to great restaurants and the lake. The half basement provided great summer sleeping conditions as it was nice and cool. Owner makes you feel very welcomed. We would seek this house out again if we travel back to the area."

  • Great Lake House!

"We had a group of 7 couples stay for a long weekend of wine tasting and relaxing and the cottage worked out great! We enjoyed the large kitchen for cooking and the lower level with the game tables and TV. Close to everything on Leelanau Penninsula and owner had very good recommendations for dinners. Loved the hike to Lake Michigan! The lake the house is on was beautiful but hot tub was perfect, as it was a little chilly. Only drawback was the bunk beds are a little tough for adults, but overall, worked out. Owner was very responsive. Would definitely recommend for a getaway spot."

  • Relaxing and beautiful

"Our first time in Glen Arbor and we were extremely happy with the location and the home. The house is beautifully decorated - loved the great room and the hand-carved bedroom set! Our 4 kids stayed in the bedroom with 2 sets of bunks - it was perfect! The outdoor grills were perfect and the fire pit was busy as the s'more making station. It is also nice that the backyard is shaded! You could enjoy the outdoors without roasting in the sun. The house is located just off Glen Lake, an amazingly clean, spring-fed, turquoise-colored lake that was truly breathtaking! I couldn't believe the color of the water, it felt like we were in the Caribbean not upper Michigan. There is kayaking and paddle boards near to rent, if you don't have your own. Or you can hang out on the awesome, sand bottom sandbar with your boat. We enjoyed the lake so much! We also did some sightseeing! I highly recommend Sleeping Bear Dunes - you get an amazing view of Glen Lake and if you continue walking you can see Lake Michigan. We also drove through Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive (the entrance into one gets you in the other!) - don't skip it! It was beautiful!!! Overall, we loved the area and the accommodations were AWESOME! Thanks, Dave!!!! We hope to return!"

"We had a wonderful time at this little condo. I was a bit taken aback at just how small the kitchen was but the space there was well utilized. Those booking should be aware there is no oven and only a mini fridge with a teeny tiny freezer that needed defrosted badly. we brought a pint of ice cream and had to eat it before our dinner because we couldn't get it in the ice encrusted compartment:( The condo was very clean and the space was just perfect for my husband and I. The fire place was EXTREMELY cozy. Great location and the colors were phenomenal. I will definitely consider coming back to stay:)"
