  • Great Lake House!

"We had a group of 7 couples stay for a long weekend of wine tasting and relaxing and the cottage worked out great! We enjoyed the large kitchen for cooking and the lower level with the game tables and TV. Close to everything on Leelanau Penninsula and owner had very good recommendations for dinners. Loved the hike to Lake Michigan! The lake the house is on was beautiful but hot tub was perfect, as it was a little chilly. Only drawback was the bunk beds are a little tough for adults, but overall, worked out. Owner was very responsive. Would definitely recommend for a getaway spot."

  • Beautiful house

"This is beautiful, well-built home with peace and quiet! Perfect for our group of 7, but could have comfortably held a few more. The stream along side the fire pit was beautiful and clear, especially during peak fall colors. We spent our first night there sitting around the fire pit listening to the steam and had a great time together. The furniture and beds were comfortable, plenty of additional blankets and pillows for every room. The linens and bath towels were very nice, much better than your average rental property. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you might need. We arrived during the World Series, tried everything to get the game on the first night, but no luck. I called Ed the following day and he quickly arranged for local stations to be added to their programming and we were all set for the game the following night - very prompt and courteous owners. One very small issue we had, when people are talking and laughing on the main level you can hear every voice and sound through the whole house, upstairs and down. I expected this since it had been mentioned on a few review. It was only an issue for those few who tried to hit the hay early. We would love to visit this home again, close to Glen Arbor, Leelanau, and only 15 minutes from Suttons Bay. We highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit the area - beautiful home!"

  • Creekside Cabin

"The Creekside cabin was great! The property owners thought of everything you needed to enjoy your stay at their place. We especially liked the location between Glen Arbor and Leland. It was very easy to visit some of our favorite Leelanau peninsula spots from Creekside. The Creekside cabin was clean, comfortable and a perfect spot to come back to and relax after a day out. Also recommend Market 22 (delicious pizza) and Little Traverse Inn (great food and a cozy atmosphere) right down the road! We would definitely stay at Creekside again!"

  • Quiet Vintage Cabin

"We stayed in the house for a week in late July. We picked it for it's A-frame architecture, hoping for a mid-century gem. It totally was. The pics don't do the house justice. It has some nice touches and cool things happening. House was perfect size beds and baths and decks to the outside were all on point. The private beach and wooded view to Big Glen off the back deck was unbeatable. We certainly had some fires burning on beach at sunset. Really enjoyed our stay and would for sure come back if we return to Big Glen."
